I was going to do some work outside, so I went to find an old friend. A beat up old Stetson cowboy hat that I've had for years, and years. Well it was gone. I couldn't find it anywhere. I called Mrs. Bunker, and asked if she knew where it was, and she said she had thrown it out because it smelled, and was worn out.
I asked her, and I'm asking you; where would YOU be right now if sombody had throwed you out just for being a little worn out, and sorry lookin?
Me and that hat went way back.

You now have an excuse to go out and buy a brand new Stetson for about $100.00 to $200.00 and it will go good with those shot glasses you just purchased for $40.00.

If somebody did that to me I would be thrown out I guess but since my wife passed in 2009 I am not thrown out but still here. Are those shot glasses a full shot or not?

Yep. If not a little more. I took a shot of Crown Royal just to see. Made me shiver! I'm not a shot kind of guy, but I have shot glasses out the wazoo. My Granny collected jiggers, and bells. I got the jiggers. (shot glasses)
I have some that are bona fide antiques, and some from all over America. I wish I could date the older ones, just to know, but they are heavy, thick glass. I'm guessing from the late 1800's- early 1900's.
I also have my grandad's "Bear Bryant" hat.
Relics that I can't let go of. I know.........I'm weird like that.
Bonanza is on TV right now, and I'm digging it!

Well, she understands better now I think. I explained it like I did here to her. She's been sick all week, and still made it to work every day, but looked like hammered...........anyway, she apologized, and it's all good. I'll miss that hat, but it ain't the end of the world.
