I am still waiting for someone from the left and an anti-Trumpster, to tell us what we need to do about the 80% of these kids who are showing up unaccompanied. I mean, really. It's not like Trump separated then from mom and dad. The separation was actually done by mom or dad or both. Maybe we should be praised for taking them in for their safety until something can be worked out.

Anyway, where are you lefties on this point??

That is another point. The first question is do they have relatives they're trying to get to? Getting them record would be a good thing so we can keep track of them. Tell them what they need to do if they want to become a citizen in the future. I do believe in a waiting period, Canada has a five year period, I'd be good with that. They can still be here on a temp. Have the visa be reevaluated from time to time...yearly?

The thing is, is who is responsible to educate them, we have funny rules about that. But I'm not a lefty, though many on the right declare as such since I'm not on the right. I'm not a party person, I'm an issue by issue person.

Many of these kids who are by themselves have no one that they know of. They are mostly too young to be on their own. What do you do with a little guy or girl traveling with a mob or dropped off by a smuggler? 5yoa? 6yoa?? This is most of the ones who the anti-Trumps are screaming about who were sent up alone or trafficked up. They were never separated from their folks.

I personally think the Hispanic community should come and help out but most of them are illegal as well. The estimates of the number of illegal Hispanics in the US can be tripled and are probably underestimating it, so they aren't going to come looking to help.

Now, add to that we have laws that say kids can't be held for over 20 days and thus if the parents cases of illegal entry aren't adjudicated or their request for asylum isn't resolved before then, well we have to do something with the kids.

Long and the short of it, it's a better Trump bashing tool than anything else and so any solution will be put off. The left wants this to be an issue for a long time.

Even if they get rid of Trump with it, it will be then, their problem and still without solution. But now, much of the truth of it is coming out and the peoples are beginning to see that the left are not sincere about their concern and are simply using this as a political tool. As more and more realize that, more and more com to support Trump as the guy ho is not likable, crude, rude, poor in appearance and behavior, but essentially the more honest of the group, even though, as the left constantly point out, he lies a lot. This issue is also bringing out the crazies by the boat load and they are crazier than Trump.

So, in the end, Trump wins, many of the kids lose but some will win and the bottom line is that Trump will win this stand off. The reason being that he doesn't care if he loses. He didn't really care about the election or those who tried to sway him. Thus, no Russian collusion or effect by the powers that be or special interest groups, to a large degree.

The left needs to alter their strategy.

I don't know of 5 and 5yearolds coming over alone, they're mostly teenagers, some preteens, this is a problem without a doubt, but this was not the issue that Democrats and some Republicans were speaking out against. They are separate issues to be sure. If Sessions and Trump wanted to be badass at the border, find a different way and not "use" children for any reason, period.

While you are correct, there are some people who are looking for any reason to oust Trump, but not the truth, the majority are reacting over this inhumane border policy which should have never been to begin with or gone on this long.

As far as Russia, at the very least, the president should be doing everything possible to make sure the Russians do not interfere with the integrity of our voting process, which he's done nothing for and in my mind makes him highly suspect, though not proven.

The Russians interfered with election all over the world, not just here. Obama had promised them that after the election things would be different, so if they helped anyone, shouldn’t it have been Hillary?
