A GOP Congresswoman May Have The Answer To Getting The Border Wall Built
One of Donald Trump’s most awe-inspiring campaign promises was to build a wall between the border of the United States and Mexico.
So far, every effort has fallen short due to Democratic sabotage and lack of funding.
But one Tennessee Republican may have the answer.
Crowdfunding.
Representative Diane Black of Tennessee has promised to introduce legislation that will create a “border wall trust fund” to which citizens could donate money.
The funds would be used for whatever it takes to build the wall.
Breitbart reported:
“While Democrats block common sense border security and put illegal immigrants before our families, we are going to put America first. Real immigration reform cannot be achieved without a secure border — President Trump has been clear about this since day one,” Black said in a May 18 statement. “The most important job of the federal government is the safety and security of the American people, and if citizens in our country wish to contribute to this effort, they absolutely should be given the opportunity.”
In an interview with Fox, Rep. Black, a member of the House Budget Committee, said that her bill would allow any American to donate money to help fund the wall. “I support President Trump in building the wall. It’s going to take big funds to do that,” she said, noting that Congress seems unwilling to raise the money for the job.
The rep. also said that an effort such as this to fund work for a public monument has precedent. Indeed, a private group launched in 1833 to raise the funds that eventually led to the building of the Washington Monument.
Black claims that her bill is a mirror of popular private companies such as GoFundMe where people can gather and support favored causes and help those who need assistance.
There has not been a report yet of how President Trump has reacted to this idea, but Diane Black’s spokesperson Heather Douglas told Fox News, “We’re hoping to see [the bill] go through to the president’s desk.”
President Trump was determined to have Mexico help fund the wall, but that goal is proving to be difficult to reach due to the political landscape.
Though it is a unique solution to the lack of funding the government is working with, it may be the solution that has been desperately needed.

All I hear is Lip Service!!! I can hardly wait to see this Wall go up! and we all can live in Peace and safety. I feel sorry for these children being dumped in to our country while their parents do their own thing in the their own country. The Democrats could care less about what happens, as long as they can have what they want. This Border Wall needs to be built Quick Like, and build it from the Bottom to the Top, because Illegals dig holes under the Fence and creep in and bring in Drugs, and transport Illegals by the Car Loads!!!. I hope we can bust some of these Money Grubbers and make them pay for our Border. President Trump needs to crack down on these big Companies and make them help foot the Bill.Obama has turned this Country into a Sanctuary Hide Out, and we must shut it down, Now!!!!! I pray that this GOP Congresswoman can fix this insane problem, Big Time!!!!. Now what do Y'all think?
