I grew up in WWII and everything was rationed. No one complained because it was to keep our guys safe. We had no candy , not even fudge because sugar was rationed. We had molasses cookies sometimes. My uncle grew sugarcane. My grandmother had a cow and chickens, so we had milk and butter and molasses. They grew vegetables. We had no junk food. No cokes or other soda pop. Guess what, we drank water if we didn’t like milk. When I started to school, I had sound teeth, glossy hair and made straight A s.
Don,you’re one of my favorite reads, and I hate to disagree with you on anything, but God created the world. I agree that schools are useless and Godless and they’re turning out stupid, troublesome, Godless people. That is where you begin if you want to take over a country, with the children. Another thing, I never ran across a bully until I had
children. No, my children did not bully me!Lol.They were bullied, at least the girls were.

Another reason for our decline in education is the simple fact that our public schools are overwhelmed with millions of nonEnglish speaking/understanding children of uneducated foreign parents, especially the millions of illegals that should not even be in our country. Our public schools are FORCED by our Supreme Court to educate every child living here regardless of legality or citizenship. In turn, our schools and teachers are held accountable for the success of every student. Consequently, our schools spend an inordinate amount of their limited budgets providing expensive special tutors who speak the foreign student's language, providing all of these students with free school meals and supplies. Meanwhile, the regular classroom teacher has no choice but to spend major portions of his/her time and attention on these nonEnglish speaking students. The result is that our own American citizen students are deprived of the quality education they deserve, have a RIGHT to, and that we citizens pay for. I know this is not the whole story, by far, in our educational decline, but it is, definitely, a major part. I am 80 years old, grew up in our public schools, have 3 college degrees, am a voracious reader and consider myself fairly well educated. I spent my adult working career teaching in our public schools and always consider it most important work. But, if I was raising children today, they would be home schooled or in the mist excellent private school I could afford. And all is this is a crying shame and another example of the declining of America.

Thank you for your service, MJ. Looks like we're all in the battle we never asked for and some refused to see sneaking in on us. Thank the Lord for Trump, we may just get another chance to save our country.
