Dismal Danica doesn't disappoint-much

After 67 laps, and going from 7th to 17th, Danica lost control on turn 2 and hit the wall. While she made a ton of money in her "racing career", the only person she beat was herself. She promoted the sport but sucked at driving. Today she had an Ed Carpenter prepared car and lost 5 positions in the opening laps. Her career stats I've listed. Any guy with her numbers would have been thrown to wolves long ago. Maybe she can start a tv cooking show now.

She's dating Aaron Rogers of the Green Bay Packers worth well over $30,000,000 as of March 1st 2017 now that's not to shabby. With his new contract it will be that plus 5x the $30million.

She could drive fast but not in traffic.

I look at those videos of those drivers and what it looks like from their perspective and it is way to fast for this old guy. That sport is for the kids.

It helps with eyesight, muscle tone, reflexes, holding ones water, ets. I noticed that there were no rest stops on that 500 mile stretch. No where I could get out and stretch my legs and get a cup of coffee and take a leak. Then when you get to the finish you realize you haven't gone anywhere and you are no closer to a good fishing lake than when you left. There are no sight seeing trails along the way and no mountain views it really is a boring trip. When I was young we would travel from Illinois up to Grand Marais Minnesota to my aunt and uncles cabin. Boy that was some of the best fishing I have ever had. Now there is a trip, going in a circle is no trip for me.

Todays race was her last, sponsors and team owners finally figured out she didn't have what it takes to be a complete pkg, at least with your clothes on. Personally I won't be shedding any tears.

I am neither an Indy nor a stock car fan so no disappointment here. Used to be a football fan but Roger Goodell shot himself in the foot on the Nation Anthem turmoil. Not a baseball fan either so I will watch some sports this fall and winter whatever catches my fancy. Won't go out of the way for it though. Maybe watch college ball for a change of pace.
