They are not american citizens. They have a visa that allows them to travel anywhere in the USA that they please whenever they want to.

That is incorrect - - you are mistaken.

Puerto Ricans have been American citizens by birth, due to an act of Congress since 1917.

They need neither passports nor visas to travel amongst the 50 American states, Washington DC and any of the United States possessions.

WRONG !

“In 1898, following the Spanish–American War, the United States acquired Puerto Rico under the terms of the Treaty of Paris. ... As it is not a state, Puerto Rico does not have a vote in the United States Congress, which governs the territory with full jurisdiction under the Puerto Rico Federal Relations Act of 1950.”

Wow - - I find it disturbing that folks with your warped, bigoted and mean-spirited philosophy call yourselves "Armed Patriots" - - you sure aren't Patriots, and you're definitely too militant and mentally ill to be Armed.

Yet, he is right in what he said, unlike your understanding of their role here..

Would it have been to much to simply admit the error rather than attacking the poster??

Well, that was an interesting yet inaccurate diversion - - one wonders why, other than to attempt to obscure the TRUTH of what I said, that you chose that as your response...

I don't object to the accuracy of the information, but it is a non sequitur to what I said, and does not have any bearing on my comment.

Hey, maybe you're like your trumple-thin-skin bud who made pretty much a fool of himself after Hurricane Maria by first acting as if Puerto Rico had nothing to do with the US, then announcing WAAAY after the fact (dumbly) that Puerto Rico is an island...

Yes, PR became a "US territory" in 1898 after the Spanish American War - - and when they voted to change their constitution in 1952, they became a "US Commonwealth" - - and they send one non-voting resident commissioner to the US House of Representatives. STILL, in 1917, Congress granted all Puerto Ricans by birth to be UNITED STATES CITIZENS, so...

My comment WAS NOT WRONG about the citizenship or traveling options of a Puerto Rican - - you may not like it (and I'm sure you don't), but as American citizens, they can actually choose to move to any of the places to which they can travel, and if they establish residency in a state, they can vote as an American citizen.

I'm sure that absolutely gets your girdle in a knot, but it's true just the same...

Well, you picked up on the insult - - your IQ just jumped up a few points in my estimation.

I think many of our nation's Founders were just brilliant - - particularly Alexander Hamilton and his Federalist Papers, which bear heavily on the interpretation of the Constitution - - have you read them ???

Our political forebears intended for our United States Constitution to be a living document, not for it to be "strictly interpreted" in 2018 with the mentality of folks who lived in 1776. To that end, I consider those Founders to be Progressives, even though they would not have had that word for it the time, but I would never label them as Conservatives...

You have some valid points but the Island was acquired out of trickery for the extensions of territories for the Crown via the U.S. Inc. Another Central Bankster Plot and down the rabbit hole we go...

At this point I no longer really care, I just want my country back and this Topic shows us damages done to my Republic by bad policies, agendas, decisions, lies, wreckage and trickery of the past...

These are all called encroachments.

I don’t dislike them at all, I just want my country back.

As for the Hurricanes, I could seriously careless, in fact I did speak up about not sending our Money for aid because we can no longer afford it and they should not be building anything that can’t stand up to 200mph or a in a flood zone....and down that rabbit hole we go.... weeeeee weeeeeeee...

I can go on and on...

Noted valid points and there you go again insulting with IQ
Yes I’ve read some of the Federalists and in time will complete them all...
Many of the founders turned Traitors and sold us out... the others died trying to defend what I’m trying to protect.
Progressives ? I disagree like 100million other armed patriots... and for such discourse and escalations we are on the path to civil war again.

You can’t have it both ways, the living document only exists by protecting the pillars from encroachments and transformation away from our Ethos like illegal immigrant invasions and muslim transplantation.

Puerto Rican’s Go HOME

Oh, I see, you've read some Federalist Papers and plan to read them all someday; hopefully you've read the entire Constitution - - but I guess the parts you don't like you can a tribute to the founding "traitors"; so now you're making folks from (+/-) 1776 wrong - - based on the thinking of you and yours !!! Arrogant, much ???

Sorry dude, it's a matter of perspective - - I'll bet you're a sovereign citizen (...rhetorical comment; I have no desire to "out" you)...

Everything is a matter of perspective. I don't have to follow your definitions, nor you mine, but folks such as yourself seem to state things in unequivocal terms, trying to make yourself the only right kids on the block, when you're not.

You call it encroachments and I call it progress.

I want forward movement: in the name of ALL of our people, our country, the world environment, for wildlife, pet animals, the planet. Folks such as yourself, for all intents and purposes, appear to want to abruptly yank everybody back to what I call the Dark Ages - - and I don't mean medieval England - - all in the name of taking YOUR country back, or some such nonsense.

Well ST, it ISN'T just YOUR country, and many of us aren't amenable to be living the way you suggest - - but then you guys tell US that we should leave the country. Why in the world...

I have a better idea - - YOU GUYS GO FIND A PLACE THAT WORKS FOR YOU !!! I'm sad that fellow Americans are thinking the way ya'all do. The people of Puerto Rico are citizens and that's not going to change anytime soon.

Well, ST accuses me of insulting his IQ, then you turn around and insult my intelligence - - so from my point of view, all of you are in the same "car" as well - - what's good for the goose is good for the gander - - therefore I guess it means that if I insult any one of you, I have insulted all of you, and vice versa - - feel free to consider yourself insulted VR...
