Unfortunately for many my age, I have lost both grandmother and grandmother-in-law, plus my mother and mother-in-law. I honor, in their absence, those within our Family who live their roles as Mothers with love and pride.

Home she stayed when her time came.. How privileged I was, slatt~ She brought me into the world and I got to hold her in my arms as she left it...

I turned his offer down, as I will be broiling rib-eye for The Sgt. Major today. That, along with roasted garlic-onion potatoes and asparagus, tossed salad, garlic bread and southern iced tea. Blueberry cheesecake will be our dessert...maybe accompanied by ice cream.
