"One is evil - he is anger, envy, greed, arrogance, self-pity, resentment, lies, false pride, and ego. The other is good - he is joy, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, generosity, truth and faith. The same fight is inside you - and every other person, too."
The grandson thought for a minute and asked,"Which wolf will win?"
The old Cherokee replied, "The one you feed."
And which one do you feed? Most of us feed both but in different amounts. Think about it. Perhaps you need to change the feeding program and stop feeding the evil spirits and reach out to the Good,true and Holy. Put your trust in the good and you will regain your peace of spirit and joy of good,

Gee that sounds so much like the democrat party and the republican party. I have heard that story before and it is so true. You and SWMBO have chosen the good one for sure.

Thank you. We try to choose the good way but sometimes the evil way is so much easier and that little voice says "that is such a small thing, it doesn't matter , no one will notice" I am sure we all have that battle on a daily basis.

Thank you for this. I thank God I was given the role of the Wolf of Joy where as my brother wasn't. Why, I can't answer. I was thrown out of the house by my father at 16 and my brother was nurtured into his mid twenties. Who knows what evil lurks??? He is not evil but is not considering of others either. Oh well, not something I dwell on until this type of subject comes up. Gives some prospective into who I am. I'm easy to forgive and also easy to go on a total destruct warpath if you try to hurt me or mine.
