Lets us converse about what you know nothing about, the welfare of the middle class. Do you ever wonder why there was no middle class in the Soviet Union, or Venezuela ? You had the Party leadership and then you had the workers who were the lower class poor. A very few lower level party members made for a limited middle class.

In Capitalist Western Democracies you have what are called Capitalists, rich people to you. Those are people who risk their capital, or money to you, in business ventures. Sometimes they do well, most of the time they fail badly. The ones who succeed create great wealth, not only for themselves, but for the workers they need to employ. Over taxing Capitalists means fewer businesses competing for workers, which means lower wages for workers. Over taxing Capitalists and over regulating means less full time and more part time work.

Can you say the Obama economy ? ? ? ? ? Already in the Trump economy more people are reentering the work force. They are moving from part time to full time. People are actually quitting jobs and are moving to better jobs. That is worker and job mobility. You just didn't see that under Obama.

Of course this is all in jeopardy if Democrats take back Congress. As happened under Bush. The economy did not crash until Democrats took back Congress in 2006.

We have a Progressive part of Congress with a Robin Hood complex, take from the rich and give to the poor until everyone (except the Rulers) is equal financially, a basic Socialist/Communist platform. I would call it Science Fiction, but there is damned little Science involved, so maybe we could call it Democratic Political Fiction. Whatever you may call it, it is getting pretty damned old and should have run it's course a long time ago; yet there it sets, along with Global Warming and Racism, and the Progressives will keep pushing it until loses its profitability.
