Kaz,

It is not so simply... Not one organization, to my knowledge is involved only in climate change research..

If it was suddenly unlawful to continue study of CC, the organization would simply concentrate on other parts of their discipline

However, the deniers, are funded by Koch bros and such, their job is to plant disinformation to stop research into CC.

If we can stop that funding or overcome it, as we did with tobacco. We can join the rest of the world.

In my last reply I had a typo. It's over 42 billion spent on reaserch not 2. Did you check it out in the link?

That did catch my eye and I intended to mention it.. But the enticing picture distracted me and the rest is history..

The 42 billion amount is correct by most sources... this includes much more than temperature recording and computer modeling..

every research project is expensive.. Ice cores, pollen counts and description, satellite use, and even pickup trucks all add up..

I found a couple sites which posted much larger amounts of money then the 42 billion. a quick look, they included even local weather reports as research, so I do not consider them accurate..

while the Koch bros are a major money source for denial, they are not the only one and the 21 million is only fully authenticated funding..

https://www.ecowatch.com/koch-brothers-continue-to-fund-climate-change-denial-machine-spend-21m-1891180152.html

Koch Brothers Continue to Fund Climate Change Denial Machine, Spend $21M to Defend Exxon
The Kochs have spent more than $88 million in traceable funding to groups attacking climate change science, policy and regulation. Of that total, $21 million went to groups that recently bought a full page New York Times advertisement defending ExxonMobil from government investigations into its systematic misrepresentation of climate science.

Meteorologists can't predict the weather accurately from day to day and you actually believe these crazied scientists and al gore can accurately tell us how the climate is going to change 50 years down the road??? If you really believe this horse poop I have some good stocks (worthless paper) that I want to sell to you!!

A valid point either in predicting what is to come or what has been in the past.. All hypothetical and even that changes as one conclusion is drawn another science projects interrupts the findings and is changed again..Temperatures have been officially recorded in almost all regions of the world since the early 20th ... I believe since 1914 ??? Not positive tho...
Ok had to look for something to be sure.. This one says the 19th century~~

The satellite record is only a little over 20 years old and the instrumental record only extends back into the 19th century. Both of these records can be too short to study certain climate processes that occur over hundreds to thousands of years.

To extend those records, paleoclimatologists look for clues in Earth’s natural environmental records. Clues about the past climate are buried in sediments at the bottom of the oceans, locked away in coral reefs, frozen in glaciers and ice caps, and preserved in the rings of trees. Each of these natural recorders provides scientists with information about temperature, precipitation, and more. Many of these have some type of layers, bands, or rings that represent a fixed amount of time, often a year or growing season. The layers vary in thickness, color, chemical composition, and more, which allows scientists to extrapolate information about the climate at the time each layer formed.

Scientists can then take the records left by many different types of natural records and combine them to get an overall picture of the global climate. Typically, records that have large timespans have less detail about short-term climate changes, while shorter records are often more detailed. To combine them, scientists must use records with similar levels of temporal detail or account for these disparities to accurately paint a picture of ancient climates.

In other words guesstimation in Hypotheses with an unconfirmed verifiable conclusion. Like most science is ...,

Agree with what you say... One question please~~ Global warning used to swindle and redistribute money to third world countries, true but why has nothing changed for these third world countries given all the money in this scam ?? Developing countries need help so the rich nations should foot the bill mentality but where is even the slightest change to the thrid world countries?? How much money has actually gone to them?? What has been done in these third world countries with drought conditions, no food
Etc..

The UN is doing what to help these countries and again why has nothing changed for them other than the nagging feeling that money never gets distribute to begin with or so it seems..

Why is it said more money is needed for third world countries because they are poor and middle-income countries already account for just “over half of total carbon emissions.”.. Really, why, they don’t have fossil fuel issues or the big commercial companies polluting their envirnment etc.... Yet they will only rise as developing countries grow... Achieving a global society in which all citizens earn a living wage and climate catastrophe is averted requires breaking the link between economic growth and increasing carbon emissions in developing countries.... Economic growth or people growth ???

Is it real or also fabricated??
Agree with what you say... One question please~~ G... (show quote)

None of the money that is being distributed to these third world countries is trickling down to the worthless eaters. The warlords, dictators or puppet politicians that have been put in place by the elites keep every penny of this redistribution.

In return for the money, power AND military protection, the powers that be in these "Shithole" countries allow the financial elites and their corporations to extract (exploit) these 3rd world nations natural resources. Think about how the Clinton Foundation and its allies raked in Millions in Haiti but on a much larger scale.

It's always about the controlling wealth and resources.

Syrian president lied and look at it today...

Gore created a false event and given his predictions have never materialized he lies as well...

The world has cyclic changes that occur in sinc to cooling and heating as is necessary.. Been that way since he beginning of time and will well after we are all gone..
what changed was our “developed knowledge” as technology made it easier for investigations, conclusions or heck even the knowledge of cyclic changes the Earth did all on her own..

Keep it clean, air, water, land which is all of our responsibility.. Don’t mess with what our Earth does naturally or we will really screw it up....

So you concur that these criminals don't fund anything as claimed?? Haiti is a perfect example.!!’ All that money raised and yet nothing done.. Heck one of our opp members donated his time and team and went to rebuild.. Knew personally the clintons claimed the shackes not homes that were rebuilt cost 11k yet the clintons turned in paperwork claiming 100k in value of homes..They were there for almost 3 months and just couldn't stay given what he knew was going on.. Came back home and reported it all, pictures included... Hell, Haiti is stilllll waiting on the funds abscounded, while those lying crooks walk the streets free...

The UN doesn’t give a damn about those countries other then using them to justify why the richer countries must give more 🏗~~~, riiiigghhhttt wait one minute and let me get my wallet...🙄

What makes sense in your post is something I did not think about~The leader of the country takes what is given to keep him in power and luxury while the globalist retains the funds to continue control and to hell with the country or the people!! Pretty much like what these global progressives are doing here..

I think we should make demand on the UN to produce the records showing how much money has gone out and to whom...Price Waterhouse would be excellent..

I am so glad Trump got us out of the France Summit telling them we will decide who to help and send it directly to them... Now I understand why!!!

Thank You, Vettlover~

Hope you have a lovely and happy weekend Linda.

Weather here is not constant. Few days ago, was bright, warm and sunny. Now it is back in the rainy 40's. The tomatoes, and petunias I planted last week, all dropping and sad. We had white Christmas, white New Year, slight snow Easter Sunday morning. We still must thank God for all the blessings around us.

Oh, I definitely agree w/ you. Very little if any funds make it to the poor people of those countries. Conveniently, there is no over site, no checks and balances remaining in place. It's now up to the politicians themselves too monitor and police themselves (wink, wink). Again, another little trick to get around how funds and aid is distributed.

Exactly why I think we should send Price Waterhouse in....The problem with that is the UN doesn’t want any formal audit done on what doesn't go anywhere.. Lord forbid..

I have often wondered why there is no independant accountability of UN funds going in or out.. A perfect example right here.. A double whammy in climate change once again being used to extort huge sums of money from the richer countries too..Pathetic!!!

Their internal auditors are as bad as they are being a part of them... Who audits themself and comes out with illegal traits.???

Here’s a little something I’ve kept that goes back to 2013~~And its only gotten worse not better..

The United Nations is a hotbed for corruption and abuse. It is opaque, diplomatically immune, largely unaccountable – and has come to regard billions in U.S. tax dollars not as a privilege to be earned, but as an entitlement.
The UN does not issue clear reports to donor nations on how their money is spent. That includes the United States, the U.N.’s biggest donor, which bankrolls roughly 25% of the U.N.’s soaring system-wide spending. In Fiscal 2010 (the last year for which the U.S. administration has provided any total figures), U.S. taxpayers contributed more than $7.7 billion to an incoherent U.N. system-wide budget, which by some estimates has continued to expand to well over $30 billion per year.
In the 193-member U.N. General Assembly, which shapes the core budget and works on a system of one country-one vote, the U.S. is often marginalized or out-voted, despite contributing funds totaling more than two-thirds of the least-assessed U.N. member states combined. Decisions tend to be dominated by substantially nondemocratic voting blocs, such as the 56 member states of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (headquartered in Saudi Arabia), or the 120 member Non-Aligned Movement, chaired from 2012-2015 by Iran.

Plenty reading, should you wish to be sick after it..

Why we even bother to participate in the World globalist UN is beyond me.. While I appreciate Trump has reduced our exhorbant amounts paid to them by 50% we need to shut them down, move them out and give the bldg to our homeless Vets!!!

Of course not precious. That would mean they would be held accountable for their actions.

"Their internal auditors are as bad as they are being a part of them... Who audits themself and comes out with illegal traits.??? "

Haha, certainly not the Federal Reserve or any other Central Bank in the Western hemisphere. Fiat currency backed by nothing on the premise tjat we are still holding 8200 metric tonnes of gold between Fort Knox and the NY Fed. I seriously doubt the quantity and the quality of all our gold?

Yes, that was sickening. So much fraud, waste and corruption. My bet, if the US taxpayer had the ability to vote on yes or no on the U.N., I would bet the "NO's" would have it!
