Kevyn, you got it backwards. If the study shows that there is NO global warming, the funding stops. So the reaserchers must find global warming OR they are out of a job. By the way, they were caught feeding erroneous information to their data. It's not that hard to check out.

It is not so simply... Not one organization, to my knowledge is involved only in climate change research..
If it was suddenly unlawful to continue study of CC, the organization would simply concentrate on other parts of their discipline
However, the deniers, are funded by Koch bros and such, their job is to plant disinformation to stop research into CC.
If we can stop that funding or overcome it, as we did with tobacco. We can join the rest of the world.

First of all we have NOT overcome tobacco. The only thing is that tobacco can not advertise on television, but they still sell tabacco right. You want to join the rest of the world IN WHAT???? True they still sell and use tobacco. But they have health warnings and recovery funds paid by the tobacco companies.. at least in Minn..
You may not know it, but the rest of the world is an agreement called the Paris accord which is making great strides in the battle with CC..
Most people in the US were hopeful when Obama engaged our country in this program but the orange man removed us.. at least on paper..
