Christ died for our sins, so that we would be able to share in the eternal life if we only accept His Blessings and believe in eternal life, and ask God and Christ to forgive our sins and give us the strength to try harder to sin no more. Why do so many of us honestly believe that just saying "I am sorry" but making no attempt to be a better person is all we need to do? Can we be truly sorry if we do not sincerely try to do better in living up to the rules He has set up for us?

I hope that this Blessed day you are sharing your lives with loved ones, and sharing your love with those who need it most.
As usual we have a big crowd for the celebration of God's love. Pete and his adopted family are here. So are David and his foster family. For David it is a double celebration. It has been one year since the court told him that his mother and her sister, and other members of the family (those who are not in jail at the present time) could not have legal custody of him, no mtter what they wanted to do. Apparently they now have no standing in his life. And just last Wednesday he was informed that, if he wants to he can now be legally adopted by the foster parents who are helping turn his life around. We think that is what he is going to do, and it would be great all around. Fortunately his foster parents have the money to cover any psychiatric care he may need through the Christian group that has been working with him. Since we are officially retired, we are now unofficial extra grandparents, no finances involved, so nothing changes there. LindaJoy has a surprise later today, when she gets a chance to post it on OPP. I am sure she will announce it.
