Well what can one say? The driver of the vehicle was in the fast lane, no one (except one truck they passed) was in the slow lane; why did they not just move over and let him pass? What was their point of continuing to make matters worse to the point of an accident?

Here is a bit of humor to lighten the moment:

A blonde had just gotten a new sports car and was out for a drive when she cut off a truck driver. He motioned for her to pull over. When she did, he got out of his truck and pulled a piece of chalk from his pocket. He drew a circle on the road and told the blonde, "Stand in the circle and don't move!"

He then went to her car and cut up her leather seats. When he turned around she had a slight grin on her face, so he said, "Oh, you think that's funny? Watch this."

He gets a baseball bat out of his truck and breaks every window in her car. When he turns and looks at her she has a smile on her face. He is getting really mad. He gets his knife back out and slices all her tires. Now she's laughing. The truck driver is really starting to lose it. He goes back to his truck and gets a can of gas, pours it on her car and sets it on fire.

He turns around and she is laughing so hard she is about to fall down.

"What's so funny?" the truck driver asked the blonde. She replied, "When you weren't looking I stepped outside the circle four times."
Well what can one say? The driver of the vehicle ... (show quote)

It's the principle of the thing! If you have no principles, it's every man for himself. You know, 200 drivers - and each and every one of them - own the road.

Not a fight that I would want to be in. Two, vehicles both weighing in at over 6,000 pound traveling at 60 plus miles per hour with other vehicles and unseen objects on the road (due to attention being on the slower driver and the slower driver's attention on the tail gaiter)....that is asking for an accident. Remember KE = 1/2*m*v2 from grade school? Both vehicles and occupants would be no more! No, to me principle be damned, I would just move over and have a sign that says safe trip to flash... perhaps I could even put that as a bumper sticker!

That was my thought. So, to me they were both idiots; but the biggest one is the one with the camera. Common sense, someone running up your but may be a sign that you are holding up traffic. Just my thoughts.

My thoughts??

1. If someone is on your tail, get over to the right lane.

2. If you are in the right lane and someone is tailgaiting you, tap on your brake pedal lightly to make the brake lights come on, without actually slowing, so you don't get hit.

3. Never flip off anyone or shout anything out the window. You don't know who you are dealing with.

4. Never tail-gate another driver. Allow one car length for each 10 mph of vehicle speed, whenever possible.

5. If someone is driving crazy, stay away, as much as possible to avoid flying metal and broken glass. Chances are they are either mood or substance impaired.

BTW, whenever I see a high sitting truck like that, with big knobby tires, invariably they have a KUCINICH/NADER bumper sticker.....so I've learned to be very wary of that type of left leaner mentality.

I agree with 99 percent of your post, all the way to the end. I have a big truck, GMC, that has tricked out to go off road. I am not a red neck, I am not an Obama hater, and I do not have bumper stickers. Oh, and I have not had an accident in many years because I figure that everyone on the road is trying to get to someplace and they have the same right as me, to arrive safely.

Relax...it was just a little levity. Most people don't really like to use bumper stickers.

Two reasons:

1. They age and its not always easy to get them off without leaving a gummy unattractive mess on your bumper.

2. They are smart enough to know that there are many people on the road, at work, or even within one's family, who don't share the same political opinions and........they don't want to play bumper tag or get "keyed".

I should hope so. Without drafting how are you going to have blueprints for bridges and buildings???

If you notice the side the wheel was on, (the right), it would mean they were driving on the left and the right hand lane is the slow lane. Maybe the aggressive driver was confused about that also.

Good eye, J, I noticed that too. All states have the law to keep right except to pass, but like this butthole, many insist on driving in the left lane, often below the speed limit while talking/texting on a call phone, eating, or like this fool, playing games with his cute new camera.

Both of these dumb drivers endangered others on that highway.

Again, they were driving on the left side of the road (notice that the wheel is on the right in the video), so he was in the slow lane. So, he may have done something wrong, but the people moving slowly were in the wrong lane.

I am relaxed. Just waiting for my system to finish this debug....

I never did like bumper stickers. I lived on base back in the day when they issued those stickers for the window.. man, those were a pain to get off! Even goop off would not remove the sticky backing.

I do have a sleeve for my back window where I put that bumper sticker, you know the one "My Kid is an Honor Student..." Have to show off their accomplishments and they bring them home with such pride!

Which video are you looking at? I am seeing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3XqZoaWKv2k and both drivers are in the left hand seats.

I live in AR, so I have a bumper sticker that says " if you can read this you must not be from around here. ". My family doesn't find it funny, but I tell them that if anyone can read it - they're not from around here so don't know them.

I drive a 4x4 myself, not because I'm a redneck, but because that's the only vehicle I can get in and out of. It's my "adaptive device" for driving. I don't mind moving over for knuckle heads, it's not personal. I slow down, or even stop, when I see some doofus driving crazy. I have somewhere to go, you see, and don't care to get involved in somebody else's accident. When I want to be in an accident, I cause it myself, that's the decent thing to do.

Love the bumper sticker. I too am in AR, on the West side of town. I am stationed at Luke. I am not from here, but after my wife passed, I moved to be close to my folks and her parents. Wonderful people, who are from here! I life the fact that most people here are fairly good drivers! But, then the transplants for CA and NYC.... Well, just give them some extra room. I too do not want to be part of someone else's accident!
