Would America do better with NO political parties?? Maybe just an allocation of Senators and representatives for each state. Then, any citizen that wanted to could run for any office, put his/her thoughts on issues before the people of the state and let the people choose. But allowing no more than two consecutive terms for anyone. Or, another option is letting each state legislature choose congressional members because the people choose the legislature. Seems like much less money would be spent on politics which would be a good thing.

Man, the 7th is the enrichment of themselves and the power that goes with that.

One aspect of our Congressional representatives seems to be that they campaign on being true to the people's needs, but once elected they fall under the control of the leadership and tend to forget their promises. I agree. It was lurking in the back of my mind, and I sort of thought mentioning money would suffice, but making it a clear 7th is great.
