I grew up on a farm and yes sometimes we had to put some animals down. Was hard for me to understand when I was very young. Had to really watch the Hogs and Chickens. Could lose all with just one infected animal. But, we are talking about animals, not humans. Animals that may contact a disease and infect the whole herd or flock. Not about putting down a person just because their old and maybe sick. Lot of difference. Back home, due to our pastures we could only run to cows to an acre. So we had to control our herd. If we had too many in the spring, my grand-dad would sell or trade to keep the stock down. Our livestock and our fields were our main resource. Pretty much everything we ate and everything that we had came from what we grew.

He stated his truth, a hope. You and I butted heads bout a week ago. I write the way I talk, straight up. Don't need to use all your twenty-dollar words. With this post I have came to truly understand the person you are. You like to take a post, a subject. Play it and then deliver your self-righteous condemnation of any one that dares to object to what you deem to be your reality. This is supposed to be a forum for discussion, a place where people can post a topic and expect civil discourse. Whatever post you decide to attribute to always results into a lesson in, for me, what is on the dark side. Am I ignorant ? I have a Masters in American History, a Minor in Civics.
