Holy smokes, Ive never seen this orchestra and singers before. This is the music for THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY and A FIST FULL OF DOLLARS. I think its really cool! I just happened upon this as it came up on my tablet on YouTube. How fricken strange for me to see this when I opened it up. Has anyone here seen tis before? Amazing. It actually brings back those days of Clint Eastwood.

Great find. Who would have thought that a classical orchestra produced the music for these films. The range of instruments was delightful, male and female chorus, Soprano soloist and a Sweet Potato (Ocarino). The woman whistler was a marvel when she sang the "Wha Wha Wha" that is so haunting in the screen music. Many other great links, this will keep me busy for a long time. Thanks for posting this find.

Almost all music for films is produced by an orchestra. Pay attention during the next movie you see. The credits are listed at the end of the film but most people are leaving the theatre at that time. A number of compositions have become great unto themselves. PBS has some great programs on FM. That's the only station I keep on my radio. I also enjoy their news because it is non partisan. The local station comes through Texas Tech.

I was aware that the music was produced by professional orchestras and musicians even though I haven't seen more than fifteen movies in theaters in the last fifty years. What impressd me was that the full range of classical instruments plus many additional instruments, not normally found in a classic orchestra, were combined to produce the unique sounds.

Any one who has listened to PBS and thinks their news is non-partisan is themself partisan else the incessant socialistic views across the board would drive you away from listening at all. My FM radios are usually tuned to whatever station is playing classical music, in the area. PBS is last on my list of stations to tune in.
