What is The FBI's Biggest Concern?
Feb 24, 2018 08:05:24   #
ACP45 Loc: Rhode Island

Last week, the FBI admitted that "protocol was not followed" when at least two individuals called the FBI's anonymous tip line to warn that Nikolas Cruz, the 19-year-old suspected of murdering 17 of his former classmates.

This week, acting deputy director David Bowdich, the FBI's No. 2 top official, said he believes the biggest threat to the FBI is "losing the faith of the American people".

"Look, I don’t want to get into who says what, but I do want to project out to the public, is when I look through the prism of risk for our organization, I find the number one risk for our organization is losing the faith and confidence of the American people. Number one," Bowdich said when asked about the criticism from the NRA and other".

Talk about getting your priorities straight! This department needs a major house cleaning. Is Christopher Wrey up to the task?

Complaints fell to deaf ears I think.

When BHO was in charge, he instituted many of the current leaders and changed the title of their position so they could not be easily removed or replaced. I don''t know too many details regarding this(as the swamp is succeeding at hiding these) but when they finally learn of what happened and why this 19 year-old escaped correct condemnation for so long as a mentally unfit individual, I bet they will be able to pinpoint it to this. Whoever this turns out to be MUST be replaced....

Libery and mary, Be reasonable!! How can the FBI and Law Enforcement leaders waste their time on little grievences like pesky kids making terroristic threats, when POUS Obama had warned the country to the country was global warming. They had to put all their efforts on fighting the Big Bad Global Heaters, like engines that run cars, factories, etc. The BIG disappointment is that His Royal Highness O isn't in office any more, but his rules and those who worked with&for him still are. What we REALLY need to make America safe again is to get rid of the policies designed to destroy our country. WE MUST DRAIN THE SWMP,!! And ASAP!!

I'm afraid that the problem is not that simple, it is a coumpound systemic failure.

Clearly phase one is preventing those with serious mental defects (such as Cruz) from obtaining firearms!

We desperately need to clearly re-define the point at which mental defects are grounds to deny the right to posses firearms.

First we have a mental health system that is a near total failure, mentally disturbed individuals are not hospialized and treated,

instead, they are routienly treated on an outpatient basis, they get a pill to mask their symtoms, and are then sent home.

It is an undeniable fact that young men are the one segment of society most prone to committing acts of crime and violence,

how do we treat them?

Our broken mental health system gives them drugs that are shown to increase violent actions by more than 40% among 15 to 24 year olds.

From 70% to 80% of all mental illness in this country is being diagnosed and treated by family physicians, not qualified mental

health care professionals! FDA recommendations that these patients be closely monitered are routinely ignored!

Because most seriously mentally disturbed individuals are no longer hospitalized, but are instead treated on an out patient basis,

their mental illness is not reported to law enforcement, thus they are not currently barred from purchasing and possessing firearms.

Check out the facts below:

https://www.drugwatch.com/ssri/suicide/
Patients who take SSRIs may experience side effects such as violent behavior, mania or aggression.

The FDA suggests patients of all ages who start taking antidepressants should be carefully monitored

for clinical worsening, suicidality or unusual changes in behavior.

And more @ http://www.iamawake.co/study-antidepressants-linked-to-violent-behavior-in-youth/.
Most of the age groups did not show an increase in crime and violence, however,

the 15 to 24-year-old group showed a 43 percent increase in their risk of committing violent crime while on SSRIs

Any suggestions on how to fix THAT?

The mental health profession, at least many in it, IS SERIOUSLY BROKEN!! Remember the shooting at Fort Hood was done by an officer who was the head Mental Health Professional on the base.Excuse me, did I call it a shooting? The President called it,"Work place violence". How can you fix some thing if you refuse to acknowledge that it's broken? All the violent mess that's been going on for a while now reminds me of a song from the sixties or seventies,"They're Coming to Take Me Away".You can viewit on U Tube.

Gatsby: I'm a firm believer in exercise. If you engage in activity sufficiently, it produces endorphins in brain.

My daughter suffers ADHD and anything I've read indicates daily exercise can help. As for Cruz, this article in reader's Digest indicates exercise is also helpful for what my ail him. And BTW, if we were to get someone in there who TRULY understands health, it may end up being cheaper and more effective! http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2016/08/160812073654.htm

maryla: Twice children of friends have been advised by their childs teacher or school that their childs mis-behavior indicated ADHD,

and advised them to have the child medically evaluated for same. Both were reluctant to subject their children to the

Ritlin experiance, and decided to try dietary solutions first. In both cases the parents themselves discoverd that the

actual problem was a sensitivity to dairy products! In both cases, this simple dietary change had the same results.

Their teachers reported markedly positive behavioral changes in both cases within days of this dietary change!

Your welcome, I hope it helps, I've heard of glutten having a similar effect but don't know of any examples.

Dietary sensitivities are a little explored area, big pharm can't patent them.

You got that right. And remember, even when they're coming just as fast as their patrol cars will carry them, they're still minutes away.

I don't know, corruption in the top levels of the FBI may run to deep, and may even include Christopher Wray himself.
