Nah, I shaved right after taking that picture. I had grown it for a brother's reunion and kept it a little a while longer. Besides, my son had a beard and I decided to visit him with one of my own.

The Sgt. Major likes my beard, but I don't care for one during the warm weather. I normally only grow it for the late Fall and Winter, so as to have it for our Brother's Reunion and the holidays. I kept the last one 'til the month of May for the reason I stated...a visit with my son out in California. In fact, I had it when I visited Coos Bay Tom and Big Mike.
