oldroy, I can say without hesitation that there are more than enough Military and Law Enforcement vets in this country that weould willing and able to provide security at every single school out there that would just ask.

I am ex-military but I got out 61 years ago and don't think I would be much good. Now, when I was thrown out of a public school as a teacher, 32 years ago I would have been glad to be supplied a weapon, monthly training etc to "guard" kids. Yep, I think that most teachers are more attached to their kids than hired guards would be.

Ohmigod, Trump just said today that hired guards wouldn't ever "love" the kids as much as teachers would. I wonder how that deputy sheriff at Parland felt about the kids in the school. Maybe he was more of a leftist coward than most teachers there would have been.
