As I stated in my previous post...in similar thought, the same is true for many GOP members. For example, in the 2012 Indiana senatorial race, GOP candidate Richard Murdoch said on Fox & Friends: “I have a mindset that says bipartisanship ought to consist of Democrats coming to the Republican point of view."

It was widely believed that, due to this comment, he lost an election in which it was thought he had it 'in the bag.'
