The Swedes finally got tired of things like 90% tax rates and high taxes on businesses and now they have but the business tax rate to about 22% compared to the 36% rate in the US. They have made a number of important changes since the mid-90s and are slowly getting back to where they were before the US kept on sending them money to establish socialism with.

Most liberals in the US like to have us think that Sweden is so socialistic when, in fact, they have been electing conservatives and switching back toward what we once had.

If the conservatives over in Sweden do to their country what the conservatives have done to this country they will be broke and in debt up to their eyeballs in short order.

Conservatives in Sweden may very well be not only intelligent but since they are all Swedish (one nation, one border, one culture), they all share the same values which might be a bit more honest than the raw naked politicians who populate the halls of Congress and kept on the payrolls of the lobbyists. (In ancient Rome senators would receive these clients,(called lobbyists in the USA) in their homes each morning.

Take a chance on knowing something less liberal than what you know now and read the link I finally got on that post. You will be very surprised to see the numbers there, I am very sure. We are certainly headed to where they were but they are coming back to what they were before WW II.

You may also want to look at Detroit and all of the democrats that ran that city for fifty years and the condition that it is in today. You can also look at Chicago, Illinois, California, and most any democrat controlled city or state and see nothing but financial ruin.

Look at the list of big cities that are "broke and in debt", and trying to declare bankruptcy, ALL are run by Liberals and Democratic governments, they could have all benefited by a little more conservatism in their fiscal policies.

The National Democrats are doing the same to the whole country; what is the national debt now? Doubled under Obama, is he a Liberal Democrat?

Do you remember the threat of government shutdown because the conservatives wanted to talk about limiting the national debt increase and Obama resisted even talking about limiting the debt ceiling?

Makes me wonder if you have been paying attention, or maybe just want to bad mouth someone even if you know better. Which one ???
