This was an excellent article. I agree with you completely. I am not against the Obamas because of the color of their skin. There are several black men who are believe would be very good for our country. Ben Johnson and Allen West are two very smart men who are also against Obama. Not because of the color of their skin but for what he stands for. Obama is a communist who wants to turn America into a communist country. We can't let this go on any longer nor can we allow another communist take over the White House in 2016 that being Hillary Clinton. Bravo!!!! As well said as anything I have read on this site. I don't hate any color of skin - I enjoy peace and quiet and leaving alone and well as being left alone. What I do hate is when color of skin determines outcomes, no matter what color it is. A man can have an issue with me, but only if I, personally, initiate a reaction from him that he perceives as negative, such as a frown, a glare, or anything that upsets either of us. A smile, a hello, a handshake, and a pleasant and sincere greeting would change our interactions with other people in such a positive way. Unfortunately the races don't act this way on a regular basis. There are very intelligent, attractive, men and women of color. There are descendents of the middle east, Asia, and Spanish cultures that are extremely smart, and caring people. But the discrimination continues at every turn of the road. Because I'm white, because I'm black, because I'm darker brown, because my hair is always black, because my eyes are blue/green, because my hair is blond, COLOR - COLOR - COLOR. Judge people by their actions and reactions, not by the color of their skin. Are there African-Americans or simply Americans? Are there Indian Americans/Native Americans or simply Americans? Are there Hispanic Americans or simply Americans? Are there Asian/Americans or simply Americans? I don't go around saying I'm a Dutch/American, even though my ancestors were Dutch/English - I'm an American, born on the soil of the United States of America and I'm damn proud to be who I am.
