Lake Fork, just northwest of Tyler, if not the best bass fishing in the nation, certainly is known as the best in Texas, to my knowledge. I have heard that the vast majority of Texas lunkers (large-mouth bassover 13 lbs.) are caught in Lake Fork.

You don't know what your missin there Slats that is a fine fish and it would be fun to catch a few of those. Nice eaten to.

I must have misrepresented myself, Bahmer. I'm not as much on fishing as my wife is, but bass-fishing is my favorite. And, I like the taste of bass. I have never caught a lunker...in fact, I'm not much of a 'catcher-man' so much as a frustrated fisherman. But, I do enjoy landing a good bass, especially when they 'fish-tail' across the surface of the water. I'm spoiled in that I do enjoy fillets, but do not care for picking through all the bones on most fish. But, I do like a good fish-fry...especially if they are catfish. But, as stated, I will eat any kind of fish. In fact, I really like the texture and flavor of shark...most particularly, black-tip shark.

They want Big Bass at Lake Fork that's the reason they have to be at least 24 inches

Lake Whitney is directly south of Azel/Fort Worth, about 90 miles as the crow flies. BTW, I visited the north shore of Minnesota about 6-7 years ago, just prior to retiring to Lake Whitney. Beautiful up there.

Love the north shore... Spent many a day in the parks and forest and some on the water. Huge lake seem like a sea...

Think we have camped in all of the parks.. Liked Manitou the best but not best by much..

That is a beautiful fish... While we have great fishing in Minnesota, I have always wanted to catch those lunkers down south.

southern fish of any kind grow much faster then in the cold north.. Bet it was ton of fun to hook that one..

Fishing is fine, but why don't we all get back to the matter at hand? That engenders more "fish stories" than anything else that I can think of!

If he is found to be guilty yes it'll be worth it the guy is a scum bag. When Trump Jr. Jared Kushner and Paul Manafort met I Trump Tower in June 2016 with those eight Russians to discuss dirt on Clinton and Russian Sanctions what do you think the chances are that they did not take the elevator up one floor to Trumps apartment. We know he was in Trump tower that he had been to a fund raiser in New York and returned to Trump Tower that day. Paul Manaforts chief aid was there through most of all of it and has been indicted, he appears to be coping a plea and will be singing like a bird to stay out of prison
