What happens when they turn 26? Those who are not covered or between 26-40 are not buying. Those covered under their parents are not contributing at a level that helps fund the cost of older Ameicans. Any manner you look at it the cost is going to be much higher than promised and employers are going to drop plans. Everyone's cost for premiums will go up significantly next year.

Good points. Hopefully, when they turn 26 they will buy insurance. If the ACA is still around, my grandson will, because he has a "preexisting condition." If ACA is gone, he will be up the well known creek.
Costs, at least mine, have gone up over the last 3 years. I have no hope that they will not continue to go up. I'm on Medicare, and have, as long as I can remember, been covered under a company policy. When I took 14 years off work to be a stay at home mom, I was covered under my husband's company's policy.
It has always been rough for people who were not covered under a company policy. I hope someone can implement a compromise that will ease the problem.

Your point Grace??  :|
Will it be a forever thing?
The stealing of Medicare funds, (that we paid for in advance), is not a new thing. The funds were stolen by the heavy thinkers in Congress years ago and put into the General fund along with paid in Social Security money, our money! These ingrates stuck that money into the stock market and when it crashed, they got back maybe 10 cents on a dollar. One of the major reasons that more than half of our debt is owed to us!
Now, Obummer has stolen more Medicare funds because I think that he wants his ACA abortion to take Medicare's place! Medicare is pretty good unless you have to go into the hospital, if you do, you will go broke, but the Medicare Advantage plans etc.. have the equivalent, in most cases, co-pay as Medicare Co-pay for a one year period!
I guess the moral of the story is that elected officials cannot be trusted with our money!
