I believe that there are eight sections that were built and have gone through the process of seeing which one or ones are the best for the southern wall. They are all 30 feet high and each one of them has passed so far as to the tests that our ICE department and military have put them through. One individual made it to the op of one of the wall segments but then couldn't get down and they had to use a cherry picker to rescue him. So far all wall sections have passed with flying colors and now it is up to congress to pass the appropriations for the border wall. Whether they wait for the dreamer act or DACA or negotiate price and appropriate the money before or not is up in the air.

The prototypes have been built and tested.

The best ideas are being incorporated into a final design.

Because of the topography of the terrain along the border, there will be several designs used to be the most effective in any given area.

The design is now in the final stages.

What Trump needs now is the funding, so that when the designs are complete, the construction can start immediately.

That's the fight that's going on now.

When you buy a house, does the money come from you or the bank?

If it comes from the bank, does that mean it never comes from you?

Or does it mean that you have to pay it back, with interest?

If we wait for Mexico to pay for the wall, then the wall won't get built until Mexico comes up with the money.

So Mexico would then decide when America could build it's wall.

We will build the wall now, and Mexico will pay for it later, with interest.

That may be done in direct payments, trade deals or any combination thereof.

One things for sure, drug money and American welfare money going to Mexico is going to dry up and that in itself could pay for the wall.

Send a dozen Hueys to drop in on Banorte National Bank in Mexico City. Just take the money and high tail it back to Lackland AFB. Problem solved. Maybe take a billion extra for our trouble.

And then we'll increase the tariffs on their imports, as we close down the welfare sent to Mexico, from the United States and we cut down the drug money flowing into Mexico from America.

You really think America needs Mexico to survive?

I think you'll find that Mexico is much more dependant on the United States of America, than America is dependant on Mexico.

If the individual had taken a grappling hook and 25 feet of rope, he could have easily gotten down.

Okay heres one of the things I have been wondering about: The wall is to keep out foreigners, especially terrorists. Well what about the 4000 mile border between US and Canada? You think terrorists cant get into Canada? Whats to stop them from just coming in that way? Don't we need a wall there too? There is no way CBP cant adequately secure that border as things are now. I never hear anybody talking about a northern wall. Just the southern wall, which a year later and very little if any progress on that. I thought Trump was going to secure our borders? That was one of the big promises. Somebody please explain.
