If we are going to have a universal guaranteed wage, the United States is going to take a huge pay cut, because we PRODUCE 5 times more goods and services than the rest of the world.

Obviously, free people and free markets create innovation and wealth. Socialist slave states create poverty and human misery.

This is the difference between individual free men and socialist slave states suffering the arrogance of centralized planned economies. In economic game theory, this is John Forbes Nash's difference between open games and closed games. Government planners determining your needs and redistributing the wealth makes people equally poor. Making people equally poor will never make people rich.

This is why the communist utopian state of the stone age failed humanity for 2 million years..

Who is going to be doing 5 times more work than the rest of the world? The USA.

Zuckerberg knows this. Beware of false prophets tooting a universal wage.

Ask him who is going to do the work? Do we really want the tyranny of the mob that James Madison warned us about?

What we need in the United States is a stable currency to reward hard honest work, not government redistribution of the wealth. Get rid of this Marxist communist government central bank, the Federal Reserve System and its inflation machine, and we will manufacture 10 times more goods and services. A rising tide lifts all ships. The time has come for America to stop subsiding world solcialism if we are to have peace and prosperity on earth.

He seems to have done quite well on his own and with the advice he is already getting.

I have found that, generally (though not always) the more money people have the more they are loathe to give any of it up.

That having been said, I think you are confusing Socialism with Communism. Socialism can work in conjunction with Capitalism, Communism cannot.

Oh, no, PaulPisces! When Karl Marx wrote his Manifesto, he detailed how capitalism would evolve into socialism, and then after some 500 years, a utopian communist society would emerge after all the bad guys were weeded out; as if human character was determined genetically!

The government centralized economy would materialize as it regulated small industry to death. Small businesses would be swallowed up through corporate mergers and acquisitions. Finally, Big Government would nationalize the remaining handful of big businesses. China is doing this right now. Socialism is not a free market. It cannot work in conjunction with capitalism

Every time Washington infuses itself into Wall Street, our economy crashes. It did so in 1929, 1972, and 2008.
The two big factors behind economic collapse are Marx's government central bank (the Federal Reserve Bank and the Federal Housing Authority Bank) and Marx's progressive taxes.

A government takeover of industry is not going to make citizens more loving, sharing, and caring. When evil is inherent in human nature, consolidation of power is not a practical solution! We have a Declaration of Independence and Constitution to equally protect us from the tyranny of government. Karl Marx was a big fan of Charles Darwin and natural selection creating "bottlenecks in human evolution."

You gotta read Karl Marx's own newspaper: "The Rhenish Gazette" of the early 1880s to grasp his racism, which only now is being translated into English. He never planned for socialism to work but for it to fail, tightening a grip on resources through a centralized planned economy to starve and warmonger people to death.

Did it once, we can do it again. Repealing the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 would be a beautiful thing. I like the way you think! Remove the central banking monopoly and watch the people flourish. While those reforms are on the table, I would advocate a repeal of the legal tender laws and abolition of the IRS to round out the package.



A lot of people don't know this, but in order to keep grain prices artificially high, the US government bought up 'excess' grain production and shipped it to the USSR, free of charge. They did this for many, many years. It was not really a 'secret' as such, just never reported on in the media. When the USSR collapsed in 1991, these shipments ceased. Now the US government simply pays farmers not to plant the crops in the first place. This has the same effect of artificially raising grain prices to a given, and arbitrarily set, price range.

Imagine that. On the one hand, the US was engaged in a 'cold war' with its Soviet adversaries and on the other it was feeding the Soviet people for free. And we all thought they were 'the enemy'!
