Seems to me this is very clear. We either protect our country, or we give it up to ?????

If the true patriots of this country will not stand up and fight for the United States of America,

then we as a nation will fall. I am thoroughly appalled at what I am seeing going on in our country

today. I realize we here on 1PP, have very strong opinions on many subjects. And for the most part,

I am not addressing the far left. However, I would hope we can agree that this country is worth saving?

And in that framework, I would ask we all agree?


If we let illegal aliens, along with there supporters have their way, we are doomed as a Republic.

I don't want to see that happen, nor do I believe you do either.

This country deserves better. The men and woman that fought and died for this country deserve better.

Someone once said we are but one generation away from collapse. Never in my lifetime has that been

truer than today.


There is nothing mysterious about the way our founding fathers set this country up. A noble experiment

indeed. But it is also clear, our nation needs to be refreshed with new patriots each and every

generation.


The old guard, ... Congress and the Presidency ... have lost there way. And if true patriots will

not stand up and do what must be done, then ( all ) we have now, will be lost. And if that happens,

all our opinions, attitudes, likes and dislikes, needs, hopes, and wants, will be set aside for the good of

illegal aliens.

Do you want that? Really want that?


The people of this country have, ... it seems to me ... made a start with making Mr. Trump our

President. Yes, yes, yes, I've heard all the pros and cons about him. That being said, you know as

well as I. The reason he is the president, is precisely because he was not a politician. Like him or dislike

him. things are getting done. Argue all you want about how, or who said what to whoever, the true fact

is, things "are" getting done. But one man can not do it all. Not even the President of the United States.


So the big question is, do we stand as one, united for our country, or do we sit and watch it disappear?

When we let these #^?*&%# [Illegal] Aliens shut down Disney World without facing ANY CONCIQUENCES, while lawyers defend their actions? When the state of California puts [illegal] aliens before the legal citizens that actually pay for the right to live there, VIA TAXES? When the best Lawyers and Doctors rush to hospitals to stand up for and defend Injured Illegals apprehended in a high profile case of a criminal action, while the victims are left laying in the streets at the scene of the crime?

You might try reading a little history, which would reassure you a great deal. Immigration, legal or illegal, has never been a significant problem for us - until some politicians decided it was. In our history, there were times that a near total ban on ALL immigration was enacted, that turned out to be a very bad idea, prompting us to reverse our stance. During those ill advised attempts, business income dropped, wall street plummeted, tax revenues took a substantial hit and 1000's of jobs went unfilled. I urge you NOT to take my word for it, I urge you to research it yourself.

We HAVE had periods where politicians claimed immigration was destroying the country, taking Americans jobs away from them, bringing diseases and crime..........at least once in every century. This is NOT a new phenomena..............so the results can be predicted............since it's happened before. America did NOT fall away to ruin - until we began curtailing immigration. My personal stance on illegals is well known, I consider them to be criminals, however, Christian compassion and common sense dictates that we should not paint this with too broad a brush. Remember, at one time..........................all of OUR ancestors were immigrants............and not all of them were legal.
