The list is fine and those on it are good people. As long as you are not implying that those who are not on it are bad people, then those of us who were left off can infer what ever we want.

There is an inherent problem with making these kinds of lists... If you overlook someone, then naturally they want to know why. It is human to think that we always prevail or succeed in our efforts. When told that we are inferior for one reason or another, it can damage relationships and if an ego is already damaged, it can make an individual feel like an Ausländer, the sense of belonging is severed. Of course the individuals who were left off such a list have to "care" or have an invested interest in both the person and the group in which they are "competing" for a position on the list. It becomes personal. These type of lists always have damaging repercussions.... there the no way to walk-back leaving an individual off the list, that person will always know that they were "bad", insignificant or passed over in favor of others.

The way I look at is that many people on OPP already consider me insignificant and many others wish I were insignificant, then I would not annoy them as much as I seem to.
