To ProudRepublican, the liberal argument saying we must let DACA stay because they were brought here as children and so it isn't their fault that they are here is a bunch of hogwash to make us feel guilty & back off the issue. I urge you to use some commonsense. First, children always go with parents without any say so in the matter. Second, remember a large percentage of DACA were preteens and teens who came here alone without their families (unaccompanied minors). You better believe every one of these kids knew exactly what was going on. Third, even a 6 year old would have known something was wrong as the family sneaked into another country. Fourth, these folks were not infants when they came here. Fifth, none of that matters. These people should not be considered our responsibility because our responsibility & obligation should always be first to our own young Americans who ard not getting help because all our resources ard being used to take care of foreigners that should not even be in our country. Sixth, we, American taxpayers, have given these folks everything during their time here - education with expensive special tutors & free school meals/supplies along with totally free medical care including hospital stays, meds and supplies. One would think they would be gratitude for all these opportunities at no cost to them. But, instead of any gratitude, they seem to feel ENTITLED to all that and more, ENTITLED to stay here just because they are here & want to stay. They accord not one iota of importance to the fact that they are intruders in our country. No, they march/protest, waving their Mexican flags and loudly proclaiming that this is THEIR countty, that they have a RIGHT to be here and NO deportation for ANYONE. No, you are being foolish to allow misplaced compassion to overcome commonsense and that your obligation lies with your fellow Americans, not foreigners who only want what we have but will always be Mexicans first and always.
