Koch contributed what in comparison to what Solyndra stolecaway and that’s just one company.. You know like George Kaiser, billionaire and bundler for Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign, closely tracked Solyndra and the firm handling his family foundation’s money, which owned more than a third of Solyndra. A frequent White House vistor, he discussed solar panels with the president at a Las Vegas dinner in 2010...Steve Mitchell, a Solyndra board member and investment adviser to Kaiser’s family foundation, kept Kaiser briefed on efforts to win DOE help for Solynda, and the news that the agency would agree to pay off investors before taxpayers if investors provided more money to keep the company operating....Or another~~Thomas Baruch, a Solyndra board member and owner of a company that held millions of dollars of Solyndra stock, reportedly met with Emanuel at least once in 2010 and scheduled a later White House meeting. At least three companies in which he invested received federal assistance.

Yes, climate change could have a broad impact on industrial sectors, investors and thus help or hurt your stock investments and retirement funds or if not yours, certainly these people, we’re talking about here..

Huge sums will be made and lost if the global climate changes too much, from heyyy we’re Sinking and will be under water by 2020 and 2020 comes like other predicted disasters were to take place and yet again nothing happens..

Tell me e~ do you think contradictory data was exposed to any of the big money investors in all these convienant businesses that jumped to help our country from killing itself in CO2 emissions??

I follow renewables too and am glad to see it is finally catching up in recognition of its alternatives to coal, in use...

Last I read Hydropower is the most widely-used renewable power source, with the global hydroelectric accounting for over 16% of the world's net electricity production...

Our apple industry was severely damaged by one of your compatriot's alarmist Fright Generating publicity drives. You people assume some faux-( that's fake)- moral high ground by pretending to be something better than all others and yet you flit about burning as much fossil fuel as anyone else, etc., etc., etc.

When you smile the world smiles with you. Hope this makes you smile bright...

First Global warming was because of high levels of CO2..

Now global warming is the fault of hurricanes, artic blasts and wait, I’m sure by the end of the day the mudslides in Cali will be too...

It’s so cold, politicians are picking their own pockets, people are flocking inside the U.S. Capitol just for the hot air, and the outlook for anti-Trumpers has been downgraded from miserable and bewildered to hopelessly depressed.

Here’s one reason anti-Trumpers are especially down this winter: Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).

According to About.com, this woeful malady is triggered by overcast winter weather. Lack of exposure to sunlight can cause low levels of melatonin and serotonin. Low levels of both cause depression-like symptoms.

Lots of people are affected by SAD at this time every year, but, according to Dr. Norman Rosenthal — who, reports Newsweek, was the “first to describe the syndrome” — anti-Trumpers are especially susceptible to SAD symptoms this year....
<snip> plenty more to read should you wish...

Sometimes we’re even told our illnesses are from it ..

Did you see the lawsuit, class action no less. filed against Five Oil Companies for intended damage because of global warming.. New York definitely needs money to fix their infrastructure and seashores etc...

It will be an interesting one to follow.. I can just see the answers by the defendants and cross complaints against New York for failing to keep a clean state to begin with and scamming the people for funds they diverted...if they just pay attention to the dumping New York does and Chemicals released into the water by them they will have New York scammering to dismiss their lawsuit... Years of protracted litigation coming on this one...

Anyway sometimes reading positive brings positive...

I'm all for positive. Like I am positive that those doom-sayers are nearly all moronic in their hysteria and fear-mongering.

As for winter here in NYS, we've swung from -25deg F to 43 deg F in just a couple of days and, well, it's exciting.

As for our state being polluted.. all but a tiny bit of the acid rain came to us from up-stream Ohio valley.

Like other sea side places, the beaches are fouled by criminals dumping wastes illegally. Medical wastes and septic explicitly.

No wispy, uber-moral leftie has anything of substance to alleviate any of those problems.

I enjoyed that link.

I think we have an enormous Geo thermal potential ... unlimited BTU's to generate electric ...our planet is cooling very slowly so it would be a short term investment for a very long term gain... screw the tree huggers & robber barons at the same time... Glad you enjoyed the link...

You have had some exciting weather for sure.. I have a friend in Georgia that sent me a picture of his home snowed in.. Not just a little either..
timing perfect as he spent over 18k putting in a house generator, new water pipes etc His generator does his house literally and he went to a gas water heater as well..

Point being he did all this just in case and sure enough it came..

Doom sayers thrive on creating fear.. They need us to feel as they do so they can then feel superior... Or content they made another feel as miserable as they are.. Such a pity..

They look at the earth and see it is going to blow up .. I look at it as the most amazing place we have the privilege sharing.. Take care of it means keep it clean, land, water and air and stay out of the way of Mother Nature who knows exactly what our beautiful planet needs..
