Barbara Streisand Is Fuming Mad That She’ll Have To Pay More Taxes

Nuclearian Loc: I live in a Fascist, Liberal State

Leading up to the passage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, liberals waged war against it by saying that the across-the-board tax cuts would benefit the rich while screwing the middle and working classes. As it turns out, the only people who won’t benefit from it are rich douchebags in liberal states who will now have to pay their high state taxes instead of writing them off on their federal returns. As you can imagine this is causing quite a frenzy in the liberal coastal elitist bubble. Barbara Streisand is absolutely pissed that she is going to have to pay a little more while useful working people are getting a break.

Streisand is a loyal member of the Resistance, but she was probably too medicated to notice when Congress passed the GOP tax cuts before Christmas. Well, the anti-consciousness drugs wore off and when she saw the news she freaked out:

“I don’t think it’s a coincidence that blue states, athletes, actors, writers, producers, and directors will be punished by this scam of a tax bill, where billionaires get billions, and the middle class gets bupkis (practically nothing) – and an eventual tax increase,” bitched Streisand.

Right off the bat you can tell how out of touch (full of shit) Streisand is because she considers the thousands of dollars average families will save with the tax cuts to be “bupkis.” Maybe she blows her considerable nose with thousand dollar bills but for most people that kind of money means paying off some bills or maybe even finally taking a vacation.

I also like how she portrays herself and her rich entertainment friends as the real victims of this thing she calls a scam. She is additionally out of touch (full of shit) if she thinks anyone who works for a living feels sorry for rich people who will now have to pay a little more.

And the thing is, liberals like her have been hammering the Republicans demanding that the rich finally pay their fair share. It’s pretty amazing, and by that I mean hypocritical, that when the rich finally do have to pay their fair share wealthy assholes like Streisand suddenly think its completely unfair.

Barbara Streisand is worth $400 million and she’s barely worked in decades. It’s not like the additional taxes she has to pay are cutting into all of her hard work. Also, she’s 75-years-old so she’s going to go broke before the Grim Reaper comes calling.

Hey, the narrative is completely busted. Liberals said the GOP tax cuts were a gift to the wealthy and here is one of those wealthy people bitching about paying more taxes.

And she’s not alone. Fellow rich-ass Resister Bette Midler also spilled the beans that she’s going to have to pay more as well.

“Good grief!! did you hear those nonentities sucking up to @realDonaldTrump? I guess they get points and avoid the Twitter attacks. What a repulsive display of unctuousness; oily, slimy, oleaginous and fraudulent…Not sure about yours, but my taxes just went up 3%,” griped Midler.

Maybe the funniest thing about this is that these entertainment elitists think that average people are going to feel sorry for them because their vast wealth is going to take a slight hit that they won’t even notice. I can’t speak for everyone, but I certainly don’t give a shit.

I'm 67, retired, and living on Social Security, so, I for one am very pleased to hear these DemLib-Socialist Elitists - who are definitely in the Upper 1% - complain about Our GOP Billionaire Pres signing into Law a Tax Bill that truly does help the Middle-Class at their - and his own - expense...

I was once a fan of Barbra's - that is, until she started spewing her political dogma - especially at concerts. Her audiences paid big money to hear her sing, not to listen to her zealotry. If we wanted to listen to politics, there are news channels all over the TV where we can listen to OPPOSING PERSPECTIVES, without laying down hundreds of dollars.

Despite the contrary, I do not understand why she should be so irate about paying U.S. taxes. SHE SHOULDN'T EVEN BE HERE!!! What about that promise she would leave the country if President Trump was elected? These celebrities seem to think that, because they have a large fan base, their admirers would actually be susceptible to their political inclinations. Their private lives are dependent on THEIR personal choices, experiences and viewpoints - their acclaim, however, especially when it comes to a singer like Barbra, is due to a God-given talent, for which she should be grateful, not pretentious. I imagine it is difficult to not believe you are "entitled" when there are so many attendants fawning all over you, but since she has reaped the rewards that have accompanied that fame, a little diffidence might serve her well.

I can't help but rebuke the ARROGANCE, and LACK OF LOYALTY it must take for her to actually express her intention to ABANDON AMERICA, AND THE PEOPLE WHO SUPPORTED HER FOR SO MANY YEARS, just because HER choice for President was rejected.

Confidence is believing you are of value. Arrogance is believing you are more valuable than others.

Who is Barbara Streisand? Is she a "goddess" from Babylon, I mean the land of Ash?
