Reminds me of a goose that was my friend when I worked at the state park. They are very intelligent birds, and VERY funny indeed.

The story is reminiscent of 'Fly Away Home,' with Jeff Daniels and Anna Paquin. That movie is about a father and daughter deciding to attempt leading a flock of orphaned Canada Geese south by air. Enjoyable movie
