Maybe That "Settled Science" Ain't So Settled After All...

"But don't let the data fool you. Weather has nothing to do with climate, unless it fits the Left's narrative".

Mmm-hmm:

https://www.dailywire.com/news/25102/heres-latest-global-warming-narrative-fail-amanda-prestigiacomo?utm_medium=email&utm_content=122717-news&utm_campaign=position4

From 'Global Cooling' (1970s) to 'Global Warming' (1980s) to 'Climate Change' (1990/2000s) to what? Is 'Climate Stagnation' next? There has been no measurable change in global temperatures in 15 years, so what now? The 'Great Pause'? Shall we resurrect the 'Global Cooling' monster just to keep the world on the edge of its seat waiting for the next climate disaster?

Gimme a break.

Climate is always changing. Now we all know that the climate is based on several changeable factors. Number one is the Sun's output of energy, which changes in cycles. Earth's orbit around the Sun, which is not a perfect circle, but an oval which is influences by the gravity of Jupiter and Saturn, Then there is Earth's wobble, Cosmic Rays, cloud cover, location of the Continents all add in to make the climate what it is. CO2 is a trailing indicator that the climate has changed, it increases , with a 600 to 800 year lag, as the Earth warms, decreases with a 600 to 800 year lag when the Earth cools. The CO2 cones out of a warming ocean and returns to the ocean when the Earth cools with the noted lag. We cannot change that and will not be able to do so for the forseeable future.

You, my friend, are a total genius. You are a one in a million kinda guy. Just understanding that the sun is the greatest influence on the Earth's climate is, of course, a heresy in the temple of man-made global climate change. You do know that, right? Now that you have uttered this heresy for all time, you will be condemned to the 'global warming' pit of doom for all time.

Actually, I remember watching a video espousing these very facts on Youtube many years ago but have been unable to find it again. There have been numerous occasions since that I have wished I had saved it but there you go. It even featured a guy who was making good money by betting on the weather in England using the sun as his predictive indicator.

There is no question the world is warming. Transitions that took hundreds of years in the past are happening in thirty. The global warming deniers will never admit their error, so don't waste your time trying to convince them.

Educate yourself about climate, Start here,.... http://gergs.net/2015/06/updating-the-geological-temperature-plot/all_palaeotemps/ a beginning.

And another showing CO2 does not drive climate. https://wattsupwiththat.com/2012/04/11/does-co2-correlate-with-temperature-history-a-look-at-multiple-timescales-in-the-context-of-the-shakun-et-al-paper/ Where is the sourced evidence to the contrary?

Rise and fall in CO2 content is a result of climate changes, not a cause. There's a historic 600 year lag between temperature change and CO2 adjustment. Temperature rises, CO2 goes down. Temperature goes down, CO2 rises. 600 years later.

That's what I said, temp rise and fall precede co2 changes.
