when we had cats they demanded that everything be to their liking. Fortunately the dogs are not of that nature. The only breed of dog that I ever ran into that was cat like in that way (plus willing to climb onto the top shelf of a high book case to nap)was the Basenji, interesting barkless dog that yodels, and doesn't care what you think of him, much like a cat.

I live in a senior building with 100apts. I have a sign on my door that says.
"Don't let the cat out no matter what he tells you" Now who's the boss? Well maby I should think twice about that, because every time I open the door he runs into the Hall, it's about 100ft long and I have to chase him! Now who's the boss!
