With net neutrality in place, internet service providers have little say on what passes through the mechanisms that are used by customers to access the internet. There are controls in place for illegal activities, but companies like Comcast or AT&T wouldn’t be able to change how a customer’s data is delivered to them. This means an ISP under net neutrality cannot block access, change services, or alter the flow of data simply because there is something that goes on which they don’t like. We can already see that the powers-that-be are trying to limit freedom of speech. We have to wise up and understand what's going on Especially with Trump in office. We have to be unwilling to hand over the keys to our freedom or risk becoming Germany of the 1940's.
Understand that innovation has to be protected at all cost. But only if the Internet remains neutral not only to innovation but also freedom of expression. Ask yourself who benefits from an Internet that is controlled by the few?
When the internet becomes a place where profitability is the primary concern, the idea of providing free internet access to those who cannot afford it goes away. Providers could charge whatever they wanted and restrict access to whomever they please. This could lead to demographic discrimination, socioeconomic discrimination, or prioritize content to the wealthiest who are willing to pay high prices for the fastest data streams. https://tacticalsecret.com/.../cjones11112014-600x458.jpg

Just wait and see it’s not what you access it’s the speed at which you get it.

exactly!!! what it is designed to do. you are a shill for the Black hats. Disney just bought another and another and GE and Soros and the corporate governance is on the side of those that will rape and pillage. Read the Constitution protect we the people from enemies within and without. On tooth paste they put fluoride in it and in the water. Corporate governance protecting the corporations at the expense of we the people.

I'll say it again, is your choice of toothpaste limited? it is determined by the market place. The good stuff thrives, the poor stuff goes away. Just as it should be. Net neutrality is a catchy name but it implies the opposite of what it does. There is nothing neutral about government control. Net neutrality is government control.

As for you not having access to what the Billionaires can get... do you have that now? If I can't afford the service you can pay for, why is that your problem? Maybe I need to work harder, earn more, or maybe I just need to find a supplier I can afford.

So, what it all comes down to for you; you have no confidence in your ability to thrive by your own means and you want your diapers changed for you and your meals brought to you and straight-jacket those who can make it on their own so you don't feel diminished.

Are you limited to one brand of toothpaste? What you and a couple others are writing is all BS and I do know it. Get rid of so-called net neutrality and the market runs the availability, just like toothpaste... you buy from those who provide what you want.

Nice analogy.

the website is correct. Not you.It is now equal to all customers of the service provider. Not what you pay for. Whatever you pay you get equal service once you access the web thru a provider. your cost has nothing to do with equality of service.

Says who? Some politican getting $millions from the ISPs?

People that buy 1st class tickets get better meals than thise in coach, and airlines are regulated.

People that buy a Bently get a better car than those that buy a Chrysler.

I don't need Trump to manage my internet for me.

This must be defeated. The FCC has recommended these changes. We must make Congress say no.

Did you know that one single web site uses one third of the entire band width? Netflix.

Looks like there is a need for a parallel streaming network for games and movies.
