Not to mention that there isn't any problems when it comes to offending Christianity !
Maybe if he left a few bags a bulky rolls couple heads of lettuce and some tomatoes oh and mayonnaise on the side things would have been different.

he should have left it in my freezer,

And a hearty HELLO to you, lindajoy!
Just had some sausage we made from wild hog a friend of mine killed this fall. Does that count? I was not there when they butchered it and they (being young whippersnappers) did not know where bacon comes from so they did not save the pork belly. So, no bacon! ARRRRG!
Never ate one when in Texas but understand wild hogs have a real.' gamey' taste.
A friend said bin it up.and feed it grain, corn etc and kill the gamey' taste.

Now just enter Beer into this equation & see what's up ...
How does a man get convicted of a crime just for stopping on his way home from the grocery store to pray at a mosque. He surely became overwhelmed with emotion and in his hurry to rush home to tell his wife of his pending conversion he forgot the bacon. An innocent and understandable mistake. He should appeal.

Not if you kill a gilt (young female hog) under say 250 lbs. I have tried trapping them in a baited live trap, not much luck. They are very smart. Luckily they come through my 100 acres fairly often. So my freezer is always stocked with venison, wild hog, and all the stuff that can be made with them-- german sausage, breakfast sausage, ground meat, chili meat, venison and pork steaks, venison and pork roasts....
