To Protect and Serve

If a stranger walks up to you, pulls back his jacket so that you can see that he has a gun, and tells you to give him your money, would you dislike and fear him?

On another recent string we were discussing the police. Among other things I was accused of “hating” the police.

Although I have had good relations with police, and have had many of them as patients over the years, including 2 of our county sheriffs and their families, and I can see a definite need for them, I have to admit that I can’t trust them, do fear them and so probably at base do not actually like them. At least I don’t like the job they have chosen as a career.

You can’t fear and not hate what or who you fear.

All of you have had experience with the police and I would bet that you did not enjoy it. Some are probably very good people, but they have all been trained to view everything and everyone with suspicion and if they are so inclined, they will cause trouble, anxiety and expense for you. Remember their key words, “Whatever you say will be taken down and used AGAINST you.” They are trained to see you with fear.

And then many of them, because using force, being “muscle” for the local “leaders” is their specialty, will go to force with little provocation. Remember that they are called “Law Enforcement officers” who FORCE the laws upon you that are made up by those who have gained control in your area. And those laws are NOT for your benefit. After all who do those laws apply to and who benefits by having them enforced. If you are honest you will have to admit that with very rare occasions, YOU will derive no real benefit but can expect harm in dealing with police that you are not personally acquainted.

If you have an emergency situation they will occasionally be useful, if they ever get to you in time. What do people say, “If you need help right now, they will be there within 20 minutes?”

Police are sold to you as heroes, and sometimes they really are. And boy, will the local news play that up to make the police look good. They want happy police so that they will be given news tips and play a role when the authorities want to “leak” something and a certain spin put on stories. And not be harrassed as much as the average "citizen".

We need some people who have police characteristics. But they should not be beholden to local politicians and those who control those politicians. They should be and I anticipate that in the future, more and more of them will be, private police. (Note who are policing the areas in which the rich live.) Working for you, as the police used to pretend, not some unknown local or national Boss.

We need police on the honest citizens side to Protect and Serve, not to harass and oppress.

The motto, "Protect and Serve" is often forgotten in current policing around the country. I do not subscribe to the current "militarization" of our police departments. While there are many police men and police women out there doing a good job, there are unfortunately too many like the guy in the following video. CAUTION: This is rather disturbing.

I disagree with most of what you say. I have known a lot of police officers and even dated one for awhile. Most are very respectful and really have sympathy for most people and want to help to the best of their abilities. It only takes a few bad apples to make the rest look bad. I do not fear the police and yes we need them. Imagine a world with no police. Do you really think the people can be trusted to police themselves?

Thank you for your opinion, and I am glad that you do not fear the police in general.

I will say, that you are a female and have little reason to fear being shot during a traffic stop or similar encounter.

I still doubt that when a cop pulls you over for some real or imagined reason, that you feel relaxed and at ease. Nor do I think that you will enjoy paying the fine he manages to get for his city, county or state. Did you know that in many jurisdictions he is expected to pay his salary, plus bringing in a certain amount more each month for his bosses? He is looked upon as a money maker for his department.

And I'm not sure about your meaning in your last 2 sentences. Did you actually read what I wrote above?

ACP45,

You are so correct in your dislike of the militarization of the police. It is being done for several very important (to the NWO people ) reasons.

It certainly feels as though something real bad is coming down the pike; something honest citizens will really find intolerable, doesn’t it?.

Militarizing the police serves many purposes, none of them beneficial to the citizens.

I first saw this coming when I watched the bank robbery shootout at the B of A in Van Nuys, (where I actually did bank back in the 60s). This was almost surely a false flag affair. They claimed that two guys dressed in black armored outfits and ski masks carrying M16s, parked their car in the lot, walked around to the front door and didn’t expect anyone to notice them? Then engaged in a 45 minute fire fight with a dozen police, while standing in the open? And after the police noticed that their 38 caliber rounds had no effect on their body hits, no one thought to shoot them in the head? Yeah I know that both were supposed to have died eventually, the one with better body armor seemed to shoot himself in the head and the other with exposed legs simply bled out from leg hits....which didn't even make him limp. Maybe.

Anyway, that shootout was what was used to get military weapons for the LA Dept.

Militarizing police does a number of good things for someone who wants to be a dictator.

First it separates the police from their tradition of actually belonging to the community. In effect they are being turned into occupiers. This changes their loyalties and attitudes. You can see the results of this in the “Us versus Them” attitude that so many police are beginning to evince. When you see them actually moved into "Police Only" compounds and travel only in convoys, you'll know the crush is immanent.

Secondly it gives the “Leaders” an “in country army”. Absolutely loyal to them. They have been flooding the country with foreigners in order to disrupt any chance of the legal citizens causing a successful revolt with all kinds of people who don’t speak our language, but are dependent on Govt. handouts surrounding them. With the proper use of the MSM propaganda machine, they could probably even get these immigrants to help the Govt. to put down any revolt. What you might call “diluting” the population.

Lots more to think about.

Good Luck.
