Walter Shaub, who served as ethics director under the Obama administration, said Conway likely violated the Hatch Act, which prohibits White House officials from advocating for or against candidates, even in media interviews.

Speaking to Fox News Monday, Conway addressed the heated Alabama race and Moore's Democratic competitor, saying, "Doug Jones in Alabama, folks, don't be fooled. He will be a vote against tax cuts. He is weak on crime. Weak on borders. He is strong on raising your taxes. He is terrible for property owners."

Conway added: "I just want everybody to know, Doug Jones, nobody ever says his name, and pretends he is some kind of conservative Democrat in Alabama. And he's not."

Shaub tweeted following news of the interview Tuesday, "I found the video. She's standing In front of the White House. It seems pretty clear she was appearing in her official capacity when she advocated against a candidate. This is at least as clear a violation of 5 U.S.C. § 7323(a)(1) as OSC identified with regard to Castro." (Previously Shaub had shared a link to a 2016 document showing a ruling from the Office of Special Counsel finding that then-Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julian Castro guilty of violating the Hatch Act for endorsing a candidate on air.)

Easy come easy go.

She's responsible for knowing political protocol.

So she has no one but herself to blame.

There's a line of formidable replacements to take her position.

If she actually is guilty of violating the law, then she should be investigated. If not, not.

Kind of hate to see her go, she is at least good for some laughs. Heck she could play herself on Saturday night live.

I don't think you lose your freedom of speech just because you work at the White House. Just like you don't lose your right to pray because you go to a public school. You lose them when you don't stand up for them. The Constitution is the Supreme Law of the Land and it belongs to every American. If there is a designated space for speech, it's from the Atlantic to the Pacific and from Canada to Mexico.

I sort of miss Spencer, it was a gas when the boss would force him on stage to pimp some hideous lie, the press would of course call him on it and he would explode. As far as Conway, she seems the type who gets sloppy drunk at cocktail parties and just gets funnier and funnier until she pukes in your car on the ride home.

The Hatch Act prohibits, meaning it is against the law, White House officials from advocating for or against candidates, even in media interviews. Her comments on Fox News clearly violated the Hatch Act. You can google for the video of her comments and what the Hatch Act says, if you care to find the truth. Kellyanne earlier this year committed an ethics violation by promoting Ivanka's clothing line; that is another clear no-no.

Then listen to what Kellyanne said and read the Hatch Act. Hopefully the truth will become as obvious as it is, if not sad!
