Roy Moore was a regular customer.
She Did nothing to encourage his flirtatious behavior because she had a boyfriend and he was an older man.
Brought her Southside High School yearbook to work with her, December the 22nd 1977, and laid it on the café’s counter. She alleges Roy Moore signed her yearbook.
A week or two later, shift ending at 10 pm, Ms. Nelson went outside to wait on her boyfriend ‘to pick me up and drive me home.’ This particular night was cold and her boyfriend was late. She said Mr. Moore offered a ride home and she accepted.
She said that she wanted to call her boyfriend, but cell phones had not been invented. She remembered Mr. Moore wore ‘brown hush-puppies on his feet’ and drove an older model ‘two-door car.’
She alleges that Mr. Moore immediately drove to the back of the restaurant and parked his car between a dumpster and the restaurant. Ms. Nelson emotionally filled, holding in the tears added, ‘There were no lights, the area was dark, it was deserted.’ Then she was alarmed, asked what he was doing. Elaborates further, Mr. Moore reached over touching her breast. Her response was to fight and scream to stop. She continues her allegations, he manhandles her; squeezing her neck, forcing her head to his crotch while simultaneously trying to pull her shirt off… possibly to rape her.
She relates, her assailant abruptly stops, looks at her declaring, ‘You’re just a child and I am the district attorney, (garbled sound like) I better walk you home, honey… and if you tell anyone about this, no one will ever believe you!’ She remembers she was permitted to open her door where she either fell out or was pushed out to the ground! She was floored, laying on the cold concrete in the dark. She got up, walked to the front of the restaurant and then, her boyfriend arrived. ‘It was late, it was dark’ and her boyfriend was a violent-tempered young man… Ms. Nelson shielding her boyfriend like a mother, afraid of his possible reprisal, she remained mute about the incident.
Following morning at home, she noticed her neck was black, blue and purple. She camouflaged her neck with make-up, because she was scared. She was afraid if she disclosed alleged occurrence, Mr. Moore would retaliate and do something to her or her family.
She resumed her press conference adding that she supported Donald Trump for President. This has nothing to do with Republicans or Democrats.
She concludes, ‘I was frightened by his position and his power. I am coming forward to let Mr. Moore know that he no longer has any power over me and I no longer live in fear of him.’

A week or two later, shift ending at 10 pm – IT IS Mid-WINTER and it does get cold and dark in N. Alabama… keep this in mind;
simultaneously trying to pull her shirt off = MOST PEOPLE WEAR COATS in Winter? a MAN WOULD HAVE HAD TO TRIED RIPPING HER CLOTHES OFF... She wouldn't have described it as shirt?

She recalled Mr. Moore wore ‘brown hush-puppies on his feet’ and drove a possible older model ‘two-door car’ = keep this in mind;

parked his car between a dumpster and the restaurant – Usually most restaurants have the dumpsters fairly close or distant. I’d like to see the café’s back. Wherever the dumpster is now, could possibly indicate the position then. Someone talk to the owner and former employees. COULD Mr. Moore’s car PARK with PASSENGER SIDE DOOR WIDE OPEN BETWEEN THE DUMPSTER AND CAFÉ? IF MR. MOORE KNEW HER BOYFRIEND WAS RUNNING LATE, WHY WOULD HE PARK DIRECTLY IN THE BACK?
