I'm thankful for nice, ruff, gentle, sarcastic, witty, bombastic, wise, non pc, loving, forgiving, ladies, real men, babies, old people, and most animals... and food, shade and cool breezes on a hot day, a sauna in winter, good friends, bitter enemies, wisdom to know the difference, my Lord and Savior Jesus. I’m thankful for the bounty of this fine land where I live. God has seen fit to give me far more than I can use and I take great joy and satisfaction in giving from my garden and my freezer to people who need it. I thank God that I was born American, although I have been to my Scottish ancestral homeland and there is an elder beauty there as well that touched my soul. I am thankful for the people on this site because we can say what we will say and at the end of the day we still probably have more in common than not. I wish everyone here a peaceful and fulfilling (filling?) Thanksgiving. If you were here I would cook for you all.
