This thing between he's and she's is what guarantees the continuation of the species. Although, I'm at a point where I'm beginning to realize the human species is leaving much to be desired, due to the present nonsense. That nonsense is now consuming the energies of all media and has, wonder of wonders, landed on Charle Rose.
Like, son of witless, I have no concern, nor am I a fan of Charlie Rose. However, what his fate has indicated is that no male is safe from accusations. Nor, do I believe Bill Clinton had anything to do with the process of excusing a specific type of behavior. I would, almost, bet my last clean pair of underwear that, with enough imagination, every guy over a certain age has done something that could be construed as sexual harassment

While researching Mr. Rose I came across his net worth. $ 23 Million. I suppose if I was a caring liberal the Rose Revelations would bother me, they don't. The two that did bother me more than the rest were Bill Cosby and Bill O'Reilly because I looked up to both of them. I especially frown on older men doing this stuff. Younger guys are just as guilty, but older men are supposed to have learned morality. Experience matters. Apparently it matters in what you can get away with.
I am no holier than thou moralist. Who knows how I or some of the rest here would fare if we had the power and money to think we could do this with impunity. I would hope I wouldn't damn my soul as these guys did. Perhaps God knew what he was doing by keeping me poor.

Speaking for myself, I know that I've done some, by the standards of whats being condemned presently, unacceptable things. Most of what I did was in a bar setting, I was between legal drinking age and twenty-five. I found that when it comes to women, if one was young and handsome, which, I was at one time, and half drunk, I could get away with most anything.
Most of what consists of sexual harassment, in the minds of women, is their perception of those doing the deed. Take a look at these guys that are being vilified, Harvey, Charlie, and Al none who fit that young handsome description.
I, also, find it strange that, so far, one group who I think would be ripe for the charges of sexual harassment, have escaped scrutiny: Rockband stars, and famous other entertainers in the music world.

I think that these guys had no fear that the women would expose them. Either they would keep quiet or nobody would believe them. Once they started on this path it was not a one time thing. It becomes a behavior pattern. The more they got away with it the more reckless they became. Senator Franken's posing for a picture is as reckless as you can get.
It is more of a power trip than anything. I may not be young and handsome, but so what. Eventually like Weinstein, they push it past what they can cover up, because they cannot stop. With the money and power these guys had, perhaps those who knew could not stop them, but they could have tried to protect future victims by keeping them away from these guys. There have to be stories of that.

If I was a man I'd fit myself with a body cam. I've been sexually harassed on the job but always threw it right back in their laps to shut them up. Always enjoyed cutting them down to size. I don't get these women today playing victim "He pinched my butt." To her I say "Why didn't you turn around and slap the shit out of him then pull your knife/gun and use it?" Those men preyed on weak women. Would have absolutely LOVED to go toe to to toe with Weinstein. He'd have to mansplain how and why he ended up with a quicky Lorena Bobbit style transgender surgery.
