Larry be honest, your just being mean. I'm not lacking in education or logic... I'm just too lazy to look up the correct spelling sometimes. In my 30's I could sometimes do the NYT's crossword puzzles in ink about 5 or 6 times a year. Could you?

NYT? Nah. I never felt the need to torture myself with their cryptic version of clues. I do, however, complete many crosswords both in ink and virtually every day. Seen this?

I issued a challenge months ago whereby I took a screenshot of my score and challenged OPPers to match it. As far as I know, none did. My current high score is 2956. Go ahead, try beating it.

I did today's puzzle and scored 1703. But I still don't know how to copy and paste on a lap top. Is a higher or lower score better?

Higher is better. I generally average around 2200.

I get a screenshot, copy it into an empty MS Paint window and save it as a JPG file. Of course, once in MS Paint, you can manipulate the image to save the relevant portion and discard the rest. You can also cover up the game number to prevent others from copying your answers and thus gaining a significant advantage. Let me know if you want it step-by-step...

Thanks Larry, but I'll pass... I'm familiar with the words and know what your talking about but I don't know how to do that stuff on my laptop. I'm an old dog and learning new tricks is getting harder for me... but I do love crossword puzzles so thanks for that, what kind of beer do you drink, it's on me. The best beer I ever tasted was at Ramstein AB, GE... it was called Parkbrau... if you ever get the chance don't drink it... you'll never want another American beer again.

Ah, beer. My second most favorite beverage. I've never tried Parkbrau, it sounds... German? Must be a lager then. I too have a rather exotic taste in beer. My all-time favorite is Boddington's Bitter, though I have also grown fond of Carlsberg Elephant Beer, the Danish version of heaven. What's my most favorite beverage? Glad you asked! I have a very special liking for dark rum. More specifically, Kraken dark rum. Served straight from a shot glass. Perfection. Of course, I don't mind a Kraken / Boddington's boilermaker either...

Yeah, it's a German beer from around Kasierslaten near Ramstein Air Base... spend 4 wonderful years there. I like any whisky made in TN., never liked Scotch, but I got hooked on Italian Armaretto for a night cap for awhile, Tequila makes me want to arm wrestle everyone for some strange reason... but I don't drink anything anymore and never really drank a lot ever, just social, but my kidney's aren't working up to snuff for some reason and I think it's from the diabetes I didn't know I had until a few years ago. Got some Cherokee and Choctaw Indian blood in me and that's not good for diabetes. Enjoy your brews.

Most wealthy families degenerate....Rags to riches and back again in three generations.... not the Rothschields.
