Who I “voted for?!” Voted for which elected offices? If you're hinting around to learn for whom I voted for POTUS, I, proudly, voted for HRC. But, what has that to do with this Alabama election? I vote for the person, not the party. Always have, always will. BTW, I’m a registered Republican.

Also, I don’t “hate” Roy Moore. I, simply, don’t like him, nor his pronouncements regarding the “separation of church and state” and his stance on homosexuality. He may cliam to be a “Christian,” but his actions and words show a man, totally opposite to how I define a “Christian” should talk and act. I see him as much of a con-man as I see Trump as one.

Take the time to fully investigate Moore’s history, both public and private. You might be surprised as to just how much of a phony he really is.

ld,
You should know by now that MY opinions are based on MY research of the topic at hand. True, that I do encompass the opinions of others when doing my research. However, I do NOT “anchor” MY opinion(s) on those of others without researching their opinions as well. That’s just how one does “good” research. Otherwise, one merely ends-up parroting the opinions of others. So, contrary to your opinion, that’s NOT how I form or present my opinions, a.k.a. posts.

Whether or not you “like” your opinion better than mine is of no consequence to me. (Actually, I would find it highly odd if you didn’t favor yours over mine.) Since you’re on the OPP, you have access to the Internet and there should be some sort of a library close to where you live, so, you're perfectly capable of locating information and doing your own research. Just how deep you delve into the subject matter is your call. From your previous posts on various subjects, I would conclude that you don’t go in very deep and, more or less, just follow and mimic the herd mentality you identify with.

In MY opinion, whether or not Moore will “... sail right into the Senate ...” remains to be seen. In one of the local papers today (my wife and I are spending the month of November in Gulf Shores, AL), is an editorial atop the paper’s headline which reads, “Avoid Moore At All Costs.” According to my son, who has a degree in journalism and has worked for several newspapers, it’s VERY unusual for an editorial to be placed atop a paper’s headline. Apparently, the editor(s) of that paper feel Moore isn’t the best choice for the Senate seat and are willing to say so, loud and proud. Additionally, the state’s 4 largest newspapers have come out AGAINST Moore. And, acccording to the latest polls, at present, Moore is BEHIND Doug Jones by 8 percentage points. So, it seems, not everyone in Alabama favors Moore and his clown show.

Stay tuned for further developments!

Ld,
You’re quite right, I DO research all the way down to the bottom of the cauldron. It’s where I always find you and your kind doing your research. And, you never leave the bottom of the cauldron. It’s when I “hit bottom” that I know from where to anticipate the alpha and omega of your opinions. As to your dealing in “truth libraries,” you’re too engrossed in accepting lies and innuendo (a.k.a.”alternative facts”) as truth to actually recognize it when it visits you. If you did, you’d see the truth in what I write. Until you learn to discern your fiction (lies and innuendo) from real truth, you’ll continue to be “as lost as a ball in tall grass.”

As to my “unqualified assessments” I can guarantee you that my “assessments” have a far larger basis in truth and reality than your “Russian-written, copy and paste” posts. Tell me, ld, how does it feel to be one of the almost 63 million Americans targeted by the Russians because they figured you were an easy mark and were too credulous to realize the difference between truth and their manipulations?

Keep up the good work, ld. The Russians will be forever grateful to you for your assistance in helping them and Trumpet with the “rigged election.“

[So a pedifile will save chrisrianity

quote=alabuck]—————

Many thanks, kind Sir! I, too, would love to spend more time on the OPP. However, other items in life have cropped-up to occupy my time, causing me to not be logged-in as much as I’d love to be.

At present, I and Wifie are half-way through spending the month of November in Gulf Shores/Ft Morgan, Alabama. Pick any TV or talk radio station around here and the Roy Moore issue(s) are the dominant news story(íes), here. Additionally, my wife and I get a kick out of talking to the locals about their thoughts in Moore and the up-coming election. Thus far, it’s pretty evenly split between the 2 candidates, with The Democratic challenger, Doug Jones, having an ‘ever-so-narrow’ lead. Around L.A. (Lower Alabama), now-a-days, any lead by a Democrat, in an election, is a very big deal.

Personally, I can’t understand why anyone would vote to for Moore. I believe Moore could win the election simply because anyone running for office who claims to be a “patriotic American” and especially proclaims to be a “Christian,” will garner lots of votes, if, for no other reason, than by claiming his/her Christianity and then begins to tell the voters who/what they need to fear, without offering the 1st shread of proofa le evidence, and the voter will count that as a message from God, Himself, to vote for the “Christian,” no matter how bad their actions, present and/or past, may be or have been. Their ability to demonstrate just how willfully ignorant they are AND just how gullible they are when it comes to practible matters of their own faith. That an elected office seeker is shown to be the polar opposite of what they claim to be, seems to be of ZERO consequence when it come to party politics vs. religion (in this case, Christianity),as long as the person running for office “claims” to be a Christian.

Add to that, the “common knowledge” that Southern Baptist and Church of Christ preachers will threaten (While this isn’t supposed to occur, it’s very common knowledge in the Deep-Red, Deep-South, that politics are often the subject of the preachers’ sermon, especially preachers within the 2 fore-mentioned Christian denominations), with eternal damnation, for anyone who dares vote contrary to whom the preacher(s) “strongly suggests” them to vote for. After all, that well established “WAR” on Christianity is reaching a “high tide” in this country and if there were no Roy Moores to fight God’s battles for Him, Christianity, as we know it, will forever be lost to American citizens.[/quote]

ld, you should know all about “witch-hunts.” Your boys spent several YEARS and several MILLION dollars on SEVERAL witch-hunts, looking for dirt on HRC regarding Benghazi and the Clinton Foundation. And, what were the findings on all of those hunts? NADA, NOTHING, ZERO, ZILTCH. And, now, as a weakly concealed diversion from the Mueller investigation, some of your boys are, again, trying to re-open more investigations into the Clintons.

As to the Russian “witch-hunt,” you’d better be praying that Mueller doesn’t find anything on Trump, himself. According to today’s news, Mueller’s getting very close to interviewing people currently inside the White House. I wonder who’ll “flip” on Trumpet in order to avoid prison time? Care to make any guesses?

BTW, it’s “Ponzi-scheme,” not “Ponzi-scheem.” You must’ve been home-schooled.

ld, it’s quite obvious that you’ve never heard the saying, “The devil is in the details.” It means that without digging into the details, one will overlook/not see the areas that are pitfalls and land mines, hidden within the details, that are designed to mess-up one’s position. By my digging deep into the details, I can see and avoid the lies and innuendo that are buried within. It lets me see the true nature of the author and possibly expose him/her for being a spreader of bad information and one to avoid if I want to learn the truth about something.

From your comment, you’re perfectly accepting as “truth” whatever you read/hear as long as it buttresses your prejudiced notion. That being the case, you’ll always be led around by your nose by people who want to add you to their list of gullibles and be a spreader of their lies and innuendo.

As to what little logic I have, any amount I have is infinitely more than what you might claim to have. Every one of your posts is totally lacking in any logic. All you do is parrot what you’ve been told to say. You’re like some kindergartener reciting their A, B, C’s back to the teacher. (IF) you’re even and adult, I would’ve expected more from you in terms of logic and truthful information within your postings between us. As it stands, I’ve not seen the first bit of truth or logic from you; unless one counts all of your lies and faulty logic.

There’s an old song from the 60’s, titled, “Come Back When You Grow-Up Girl.” While the gender may or may not apply to you, some of the lyrics certainly do because, “Come back when you grow up, girl. You’re still living in a paper-doll world. Living ain’t easy. [*politics*] twice as tough. Come back, baby, when you grow up,” certainly applies to you, ld.

*the original lyric word is “loving’s.”
