If you look closely at the picture above, (I couldn't get the picture to copy) you will note that all
the Marines pictured are bowing their heads That's because they're praying. This incident took place at a
recent ceremony honoring the birthday of the corps, and it has the ACLU up in arms.
"These are federal employees," says Lucius Traveler, a spokesman for the
ACLU, "on federal property and on federal time... For them to pray is clearly an establishment of religion, and we
must nip this in the bud immediately."

When asked about the ACLU's charges, Colonel Jack Fessender, speaking for the Commandant of the Corps said,
"To hell with ACLU! GOD Bless Our Warriors.
Send the ACLU to Afghanistan ! Then watch those SONS OF BITCHES pray.”

While I disagree with you on issues of politics, I tend to believe that unlike many others here you are honest and a man of some integrity. That is why I am pointing out that the above story that you likely posted in good faith, believing it to be true, is patently false. It originates from a 2003 email that went viral. The ACLU has taken no action to discourage Marines from praying or as suggested in other posts sued so Chaplin’s could not mention Jesus. The ACLU supports the freedom of religion granted to all Americans. Please take a minute to research this so you can make a correction and maintain your credibility.

We can put GOD back in our public schools, and will soon. Elections have consequences. Soon A SCOTUS judge with cancer will die. She will be replaced with a conservative strict Constitutional Judge. No specific religion will be promoted as per the Constitution, however prayer will be allowed. Like it or not, the pendulem swings both ways, and currently the swing is back towards a more conservative court. Thank God !!!
