I wonder what their punishment would be if they committed their crimes,
desecrated the flag and defiled the national anthem in North Korea?

Some examples of these role models of the National Felons League:

Travis Henry fathered 11 children by 10 different women, was sentenced to prison for cocaine trafficking and Roger Goodell reinstated him after his release.

Dante Stallworth was high, drunk, and speeding when he hit and killed a pedestrian. He served 24 days in a county jail and went on to play with four more NFL teams. And if that isn't bad enough, the last president invited him to the White House

Dan Russell and two other companions video taped themselves brutally raping a woman from Pennsylvania. The attack took place over the course of five hours after the victim had been slipped a date rape drug. After police seized the video he was arrested.

Marshawn Lynch in 2008 was guilty of a hit and run on a woman. His punishment was a $100 fine from the county and the NFL swept it under the rug. He was also twice arrested for possession of illegal firearms without punishment.

Adam 'Pacman' Jones has been suspended from the NFL six times for everything from fighting to selling cocaine. He continued to play in the NFL that only slapped his hand so that kids could look up to him as a role model.

And Kapernick took a knee to protest police murders, and can not get a job. Does it make sense to you?

Perhaps he should have taken a knee to protest the law breakers within his union and the National Felons League. Then America might have cared.

Not at all but we sure accepted it just to watch them play...

I like how sponsors are finally pulling endorsements of not only the NFL but players too..
That’s the lesson Denver Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller learned when car dealership Phil Long Ford pulled their endorsement after Miller decided to kneel during the national anthem on Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills.

Marshall lost three endorsements etc..

Budweiser is considering pulling theirs of the NFL saying they support no such action...

USAA is receiving demands from customers to drop sponsorship or they will drop USAA and they have decided to evaluate the demand.. Supporting first right amendments and yet claiming it is not the position of the company..?Want it both ways ???

I say let them sit and twiddle their thumbs!! I love football but am not watching it or even following this year..Have no intetest .. First amendment is guaranteed by the military soldiers that defend our right and a football field is not a political arena.. At least it was not.. I did get to save some money when I cancelled my sport channel guarantee too...

I let Comcast know they should do the same as well!! But Alas money talks and everything else walks or kneels in this case..

Yes, it does!! All the dead soldiers that gave their life for our first amendment right.. It absolutely does make sense.. His stance cost him his job and now he is untouchable..

And lest we not forget he said if he got hired on he would not kneel, so much for his conviction, eh??

Thanks for your good sense MO.
We've had enough of 45 creating his own stories and his idiot followers believing everything he says.

You neglect to note that "peaceful protest" is allowable under the law. Our police departments have become much too military and, instead of serving the people, have become what should be known as illegal.

Many soldiers in the NFL support the protest because they know what it is about.
That is a lie about not kneeling.

Kapernick never made that statement, it was an attempt to delegitimize his protest by the right wing.

I believe he did say it.. Why would the reporter say it if he did not??

I understand he later backed up on his claim which I believe was true anyway...he was pressured into backing up ...

Knapernick sits, as he should..

“To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.' “~~ well, he got what he wanted.

The world is full of fake news now, with no accountability. We are all being played by the Russians pushing false stories on all sides. They interfered with elections in multiple countries trying to break them up.

It appears that Houston Texans CEO Bob McNair had it right, with his comment about the "inmates running the prison".

But that is about peaceful protest from government interference. This is in a private setting, an entertainment, and we are privately protesting their choice of protest and the venue for doing it. Stand outside the stadium with a poster, no problem. But protesting in a stadium against the beliefs of virtually 99% of the fans is out of place. And it dishonors the men who died for that flag and their right to protest legally.

I agree the fake news is about all there is but disagree on Russia being involved in this.. What would be their reason for it??

Russia is certainly a meddler buying off people etc.. Another truth as we are seeing right now..
