Hillary’s Obsession Will Never Die: ‘I’m Still Ready’ To Be President

On Wednesday night, interviewed by Trevor Noah on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show (one helluva “news” outlet), Hillary Clinton insisted she is “still ready” to be president of the United States.
Clinton’s typically self-obsessed comment was precipitated by Noah showing conservative pundits mistakenly referring to her as president. One of the clips featured Sean Hannity, who on Monday stated in his monologue dealing with the uranium deal with Russia during the Obama Administration: “What did President Clinton, or President Clinton wannabe, President Obama, or key members of the Obama administration, what did they know about the Uranium One deal?”
Noah asked, “How does it make you feel knowing that in one world, you won?”
Clinton commented sagely, “I’ve noticed this seems to be a theme with them, yes. And I can only say, if they want to make that world a reality, I’m still ready.”
Noah continued:
“Jokes aside, though, there are a lot of people who wish you were president, especially on a day like today, especially on a day like yesterday. An attack happens in New York; people want a leader to come out, and not just come out, but a leader who can embody what people are feeling and speak to their fears and their concerns. Someone who can pronounce diversity. When you see Donald Trump speaking, and you see his rhetoric in and around what happened, how does that make you feel and what do you think you would be doing differently?”
Clinton answered:
“Well, it’s so disappointing, Trevor, because, you know, I was a senator from New York on 9/11, I was with President Obama during a lot of difficult decisions as his Secretary of State; I obviously saw my husband responding to tragedies, attacks, the Oklahoma City bombing, and what you want in a president is what I think the three men I just mentioned delivered, and that is trying to bring the country together, talk about what happened with the event they are concerned about, but not to point fingers, not to scapegoat, not to try to set Americans against each other.”
First of all, Hillary only mentioned two men, and second, it’s an absolute obsession with Democrats to avoid identifying Islamic terrorism when it occurs, as Clinton demonstrated yet again.
What we want in a president, Ms. Clinton, is someone who is not afraid to identify enemies of America, which radical Islamists are. That is one reason why you’ll never be president.

It would be great if Mrs Clinton never ran for president again. She has had her chance more than once. We need
someone more capable than her to run.
