“We, The People” are the one’s in charge! The players perform for us, and we pay very well for them doing so. All we ask of them is that they practice their little skits all week long, and then on the day of their scheduled performance, put on their little costumes and perform. If they insist on having a protest, they are welcome to rent the stadium and host a protest, but don’t hold “We, The People” hostage to watch a protest when we only pay them to perform the skit they practice for during the week. If they don’t think “We, The People” pay for their performances, watch what happens when we stop donating to their cause! Let’s commit to the following:

A National totalboycott of the NFL is planned for Sunday,November 12th, Veterans Day Weekend.

Boycott all NFL football telecasts. All fans, all ticket holders, are asked to stay away from attending or viewing any NFL games on Sunday, November 12th; let the NFL play to empty stadiums.

Pass this post along to all your friends and family. Honor our military, some of whom came home with the American Flag draped over their coffin. Continue with the weekly boycott of televised games, but let’s make this a day the owners, coaches, players, and advertisers will notice and REMEMBER!

They have a right to protest if they want to, but during the National Anthem is NOT the time or venue! They show an utter lack of patriotism and total disrespect for our Veterans – living and dead – and everything for which they put their lives on the line!

If you agree, please help this message go viral!

I can not understand how non veterans could view this as being a ( no big deal ) . For many of us veterans who saluted our flag doing so reminds us of the men we lost while serving it . Good men . Friends in many cases . Men that I for one have personally admired . It makes my throat swell every time I salute it to this day . Many of us can not get this emotion out of our minds . Nor can many who did not serve but have felt the cold hand of dishonor over their hearts created by these protesters . They have been effected as well . I feel that cold hand when I see the behavior of these NFL PLAYERS and the soft peddling and pampering they receive .
So boycott .

How many of you watched the final World Series game? Notice how both team players stood up pledged and sang a patriotic song. Unlike the 'thug" mentality of the NFL these baseball players were joined in by the fans, thus showing that baseball is truly Americas game and always will be.

For now any and everything done to show solidarity is a plus and needs doing .
Good for you .

Me , I will never follow it again . There will be nothing they could possibly do to erase
or even ease the negative impact of their despicable antics . Just my slant .

Yes to all the below . One of the first things I noticed were all the children in attendance .
I remember several times sitting in that very stadium as a child nearly 60 years ago .
Before that the old coliseum . It truly is Americas sport and so well signified by the players
respect for our country .

Not going to any NFL games and boycott all televised games.
Rent the stadium or buy TV time,
how many do you think would enjoy watching their disrespectful antics?

This is just out about the New Orleans Saints football team.

A real American hero, Retired Navy Cmdr. John Wells, who is also executive director of the Military Veterans Advocacy based in Louisiana, was chosen by the New Orleans Saints to receive its Peoples Health Champion Award for highlighting the “health and well-being of our military, veterans and their families.” It’s an honor to be recognized for the good work one is doing in their community to make a difference in the lives of their neighbors, but it matters “who” is bestowing the honor.

Which is exactly what Commander Wells told the Saints when he refused to accept their award.

“Although I am touched and honored to be selected for such an award, the ongoing controversy with NFL players’ disrespect for the national flag forces me to decline to participate in the presentation,”he said. “I am unable, in good conscience, to enter an NFL stadium while this discourtesy prevails. Since this award is tainted with the dishonorable actions of the NFL and its players, I cannot accept it.”

What a spectacular response.

I thought that it was a nice slap in the face, to the high and mighty NFL.

Horses like Naval personnel, both Sailors, and Marines.
