We just never know what's out side our windows in the morning.

Morning at our house is always different. And it is always a joy to see the sun rise through the trees.
The air is now, getting a little chilly, and the leaves have all but fallen off. And mother nature is getting ready to settle down for a long winters nap.
And while there is still time, I am installing the big plow on my truck. Only found one left blinker light out this time. And had to readjust the back spotlights on the truck. Otherwise all is in good working order.
I suspect snow will be here next month, and it's never to soon to get ready for it. A couple of times I have been , as they say, cot with my pants down. And I can tell you, its pure hell trying to install a commercial plow, when it's snowing and the temp is around 0 degrees.
I really never liked snow. In yet, I would miss it's wintery chill, if it did not show it's snowy face.
For me, I'll take the four seasons. Made by God, so what's not to like?
I trust you all are getting ready as well. Here's to a very mild and safe winter for all.

Morning at our house is always different. And it ... (
show quote)
Very bucolic! I have a small flock of Turkeys in my area, about twenty birds. Instead of moose, we have herds of deer, three groups of five to eight animals, who graze our lawn next to the house. We have Raccoons and Skunks roaming all over, Red Foxes show up periodically and a family of Fishers live in my neighbor's yard. I have groundhogs living in the rock pile at the edge of my property. A couple of miles north of here there are black bears as well.
Sounds beautiful.
Had to travel to Alberta, Canada before seeing moose, antelope, and an adolescent grizzly bear.
Alabama and GA have black bears, turkeys, deer and fox.
Nice photos.

Not quite the same as having them look in your window while you have coffee in the morning! You have plenty of Scorpions and Tarantulas to make up for it though.
Haven't seen any tarantulas but plenty of scorpions this year

I used to live in an area where there was lots of them. Black widow spiders too.
That was down in the palm Springs area of Southern California. And hot, oh lord was it hot.
Many times I went fishing in what is called the Salton Sea. South of Palm Springs Calif.
People from all over the world would come there. That's over 50 years ago. I can remember it being 112 % at 12 O:clock midnight. Use to catch a fish called Corvina. Looked a lot like a thin Tuna. 20 to
30 lb.'s mostly. Tasted a lot like Yellow tail. Dam glad I don't live there now. It's all but dried up.
