I Think My Dog's a Democrat

I have four. Two Democrats, two Republican. The two Republicans catch stuff all the time and bring it to me to show how proud of their work they are. The two Democrats do nothing, but lay around, occasionally play, and whine if their foods late.

My 2 moggies are real bums, moochers. But they do make us laugh. Here are my reasons: They have the best places on the bed, while we are scrunched up on the edges. They have the best seats in the home, and will leap into a human-warmed sofa the second we get up to attend to their demands. Why can't they do something for me once in their lives, like bring me a beer?

LOLOL. Reminds me of when we got a stray toy Dachshund. She adopted my Husband. Sat in his lap, and she would slide down beside him in his chair. Then start pushing to get him out of the chair. I would hear him arguing with her about how he was NOT going to give her his chair. SO she jumped down and went to the door, and started whining. He said you want to go out sweetie? As he got up and went to let her out, she ran back to his chair and stretched out in it, and looked up at him as if to say, "mine now"!!!

Well, I now have a Conservative dog, a big black Lab. He stays outside, barks all night, but he has a soft bark, so I don't mind it. I think he is just letting me know he is there and keeping watch. Doing his JOB. He is like a sentinel. He runs around and around the house, barking, all the way, saying "all is well, all is well!!"
And he brings me presents. And if the hunters from the Hunt Club behind me ever figure it out, they will probably shoot him. But I just can't stand the thought of tying him up. He has brought me two deer horns. A right one and a left one. At two different times, and a turtle shell, and I am pretty sure he is getting them from the same place. Hate to say it, but my Conservative dog has become a thief.

Afraid so. But maybe not, because he was also carrying things off FROM here, so he MAY have been PAYING for them. Don't know for sure. Don't know where he got the presents, for sure, or where he took my stuff.
