It apparently takes no brains to be a Harvard law professor, which may go a long way toward explaining why places like the National Constitution Center – and government lawyers — continue to misunderstand/misinterpret the Constitution. Consider Lawrence Lessig.
Lessig is said to be a highly regarded legal mind and scholar. If he once was, his latest “legal” opinions indicate he’s suffering from a chronic case of Trump derangement syndrome which has severely impaired his capacity to think and reason.
Last week, Lessig posited a scenario in which Hillary Clinton becomes president – not four years from now, but during the current Trump term. Beginning with the fake news Russiagate scandal, Lessig believes that the Robert Mueller team will make a case of Russia-Trump collusion that will bring down Trump’s presidency. This tie, in Lessig’s demented brain, would be real evidence of a conspiracy between the Trump campaign and Russia to rig the election.
Once this damning evidence is presented it will be clear to all that “What Happened” is that Trump and Pence were fraudulently elected and they will both then either be impeached or both will resign. If both step down or are forced out at once, the presidency falls to House Speaker Paul Ryan, the next in order of succession
Paul Ryan, being the magnanimous globalist that he is, would then “do the right thing” and name Hillary as his vice president. To take this fantasy further, Lessig believes that Ryan would then step aside and let Hillary assume her rightful role as Harpy in Chief.
That’s a 100 billion to one shot, at best, given that the Russia/Trump collusion narrative is fake news, and it’s Hillary (along with husband Bill, President Obama, Mueller and Rod Rosenstein) who is caught up in a real Russia scandal that has actual evidence to back it up.
